WOW, Faryl has two nominations, that's truly amazing! And even more considering that, while the albums category is rather dominated by Classical Crossover, in the other (as far as I have seen) there are more purely Classical artists.
So, I think Faryl should feel very proud of being nominated for the Young Artist category, and being recognized and compared with those artists consolidated deeper in the classical music world. It would be truly great if Faryl wins that award, although I think the others have more possibilities: checked samples in their websites and they are truly good. But, I also think it's a little unfair for Faryl, the violinist Jack Liebeck is 30, that means Faryl is less than half his age!
And for the Album of the year, well, I think I like Wonderland better than Faryl, but I guess this category is more about sales and popularity than about quality. Although I don't know most of the other albums, I would still go for Faryl if I had to decide.

Yes, I agree. I tried to vote for Faryl, but the bureaucracy on that site got the better of me.
I wonder if Hayley will be presenting an award? Wouldn't it be delicious if it were to Dame Kiri!!!

Hello folks! My ticket arrived yesterday, and I'm in stalls block M, row 4, seat 104. This is directly opposite block H, so I should have a good view of the stage. Richard Hi Richard My tickets have arrived too. I will be three rows in front of you. I sat there last year and can confirm it's one of the best places. See you there. cheers Tony

I wonder if Hayley will be presenting an award? Wouldn't it be delicious if it were to Dame Kiri!!! It would be more delicious if it were Dame Kiri presenting an award to Hayley. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif But of course that can't happen this year. Maybe next. But I do think it would be great if Hayley could present an award, especially to a fellow Kiwi artist! Throw some hot coals on her head, or whatever the saying is. Do we know whether Hayley is attending the awards show or not? I hope she does, so we can see her in another gorgeous gown. I still wish we could see her in that purple Lindka gown; we've only seen her wear it in a black-and-white photo. I want to see her wear it in full color. But I'm sure she'll get something new.

Thanks for the update, Tony. It's a very impressive line-up and I know one moderator who will over the moon hearing that Blake is performing! Martin

Hi All It has been confirmed by a reliable source that Hayley will not be performing at this year's Classical Brits but as mentioned before she will be attending.
