Hi Andy
We had every intention to go to this event this year but Kilworth House got arranged for the following day. We just couldn't miss Hayley at Kilworth as it is just twenty minutes from home! Sorry we won't get to meet you there. Hope you have a great day.

It's the same for us, we are about 25 minutes from Gawsworth, so it's very handy. I'm sure we'll both enjoy our evenings with Hayley! All the best Andy

Thanks Mark, I can't wait now!! . I'm not sure which one of my new HWI tops to wear, either my fleecy top or polo top, I'm hoping for the latter choice!!. Hope you also have a good time at Kilworth House.

Well once again, Hayley was fantastic, both on and off the stage!
Our day started really well, we were just wandering around the grounds when a people carrier pulled up in the car park and a young lady got out of it. We all looked at one another when Hayley got out of it and then she turned to our daughter and said “I remember you, you’re Bethany”. This was remarkable, as it was over 3 months ago that Hayley met Beth at Buxton, and after all the people she must have met around the world since then, she actually remembered her. Of course, she made Beth feel very special and it goes to show what a fantastic person Hayley is. After a quick chat, we let her get on.
Later, we saw Hayley having a tour of the old house and after another quick word, she left. The lady at the entrance asked us if that was Hayley and she couldn’t get over how nice and down to earth she was. She said usually you find that famous people look down on you, but of course, not Hayley!
The weather held up well (no bouncing rain this year Grant!) and after our picnic, we settled down in fantastic seats and a packed stand, to watch another amazing performance from Hayley. She looked and sounded beautiful. She must be good, as she had our 7 year old’s full attention, all the way through!! She went on to perform around 14 songs, all very wonderful, including one we haven’t heard her sing before ‘A Thousand Winds’.
After the performance, we hung around so Beth could give her a wave as she left. But of course, Hayley stopped to have a word with us all, pose for a photo or two and sign a cd for Beth (we got to see her this year Grant!).
A very pleasant day was had by us all, thanks to a nice rain free setting and a lovely talented young lady.

Thanks for your speedy report, Andy! I'm delighted you met Hayley again, and I'm sure she was just as pleased to see you, Vicki and Bethany. I must say 'I Am A Thousand Winds' is now my favourite Hayley song, after hearing it for the first time at Dunstable. Best Wishes, Richard

Hi Andy
Thank you for your very speedy report about last night's concert. I'm very glad you got to meet Hayley again and I'm not surprised that she remembered Bethany - she is a lovely little girl and Hayley loves children.
We've commented before on this forum about Hayley's remarkable memory; I experience it at my third concert when she remembered me over a similar period. It is an amazing feeling when Hayley does that.
Happy that the weather remained fine too.
Best wishes Grant

Hi Andy
Thanks so much for your report. I'm so pleased that you got to see Hayley - twice this time and yes, Hayley's memory is very good, so I'm not really too surprised that she remembered Bethany. A Thousand Winds is just supurb isnt it. It was a real treat for me to hear that live for the first time at Aberglasney.
Hayley has met my daughter Sophie 4 times in the last few years but its been more than a year since the last time. If we are lucky enough to meet Hayley tonight at Kilworth, it'll be interesting to see if she remembers her.
Best wishes and looking forward to the photo's.
Mark
