Hi We will certainly be looking forward to going to this concert at Gawsworth Hall. We went two years ago and it was a great day out.The date looks good as it avoids my shift working weekends this time! Today, I sent an Email to Gawsworth Hall to ask about nearby accommodation. They suggested a Premier Inn, less than 1.5 miles from the Hall. Here is the link for anyone interested. £52 a night at the moment (breakfast extra) www.premierinn.com/pti/home.doSearch for - Macclesfield South West Nothing to lose by reserving a room. It can be cancelled up until 1 pm on the day. George George, that sounds like the one I was in last year. Don't know about making that event this time, I've only just caught up with it while being preoccupied writing to friends in Cornwall to see if we can manage a meet. Its good clean quiet friendly. Breakfast's are okay can't remember the evening meals, I may have eaten out. Only two or three miles out of town--Macclesfield. Peter S.

Hi Grant Yes, we were disappointed to miss last year especially as we had purchased our own pop-up gazebo for this event! So it will be coming with us this year with an open invitation for any members to join us for an afternoon picnic. Didn't realise you had Hayley all to yourself last year. Better make sure we are there this time then! George Quite right George. Poor girl, only Grant and no rescuer in sight! He's lucky she didn't grab the steering wheel just to make sure the car DID miss the chestnut tree! Peter S.

Hi Grant Great news on Hayley doing this venue again, we had such a lovely day last year. I am still kicking myself even today for not being able to stay behind and meet Hayley. Lets hope this year we can enjoy our meeting in the sunshine rather than last time when we were sheltering from the rain! All the best Andy (and Vicki)

It's just that we need to know whether or not to tell George to take his Gazzebo back and get a bigger one! Best wishes Grant

Hi Martin Thanks for the heads up. Are you going to this one? I'm not sure myself. It's only a week after Orwell Park, and it was almost impossible to get a good seat last year as so many so called "unreserved" seats seemed to have been claimed prior to gates opening. And that was after I was first in the queue at around 1245pm! The new web site can be found HEREBest wishes Grant

There appears to be no response from them if you try and ring to book tickets, as i have just been trying. It might also interest some of you to hear that All Angels are also performing at Gawsworth during August.

Hello Everyone
With the Kilworth House concert being advertised for the day after this one, I will definitely be giving Gawsworth a miss this year.
Best wishes Grant

Hi Danny,
I'll hopefully be joining you for both, definitely for All Angels but I am still thinking over this one, July is looking rather full at the moment.

Hello everyone I received the Gawsworth Hall summer brochure in the post yesterday. Nice to see Hayley and All Angels prominently featured on the front. As I'm intending to go to Kilworth House on the Monday, I won't be going to this one this year. Best wishes Grant

Post 26, sorry dkeeno. Not I this time! There is a nearby motel at reasonable rates and to get a feel of the event look on the concert reports 2007 and you will find reports from Grant and I--oh gosh was it as long ago as2006? Time sure flies watching Hayley do things as it must for her actually doing! Peter S.
