Hello everyone There is more information about the estate itself HERE. There's also a pretty good map. Although we won't know any details for a while yet, it seems this is going to be huge. The location is reasonably close to Truro and I would put my money on some sort of shuttle bus facility to operate for the many (I suspect) people arriving by train. Not sure whether or not I'll do this one. It may just be too big! I suspect also, that with concerts now spread out between April and September, we may eventually have a lot more to choose from! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifIncidentally, is this event the reason why the Shrewsbury concerts disappeared? Best wishes Grant

Incidentally, is this event the reason why the Shrewsbury concerts disappeared? Hi Grant, It is possible but I don't think so. The Shrewsbury shows were supposed to be on August 15th & 16th 2008 and this Killiow Festival only starts in September. I suspect that the contracts had not been exchanged yet for Shrewsbury so they decided to remove it from the official site. We shall see. Thank you for the information about Truro. It does seem like a giant gathering so I assume that the B&B, guest houses and hotels will be full rather quickly! Lots of love, Stephany xx

Hello everybody! According to Camellia MC Productions, Hayley Westenra and Alfie Boe will headline the 2008 Killiow Festival. They both have confirmed that they will be performing at all 5 performances (from 2nd to 6th of September 2008). The Festival's aim is to gather a mixed chorus of 250 people together with an orchestra and stars to perform in a musical, with all profits going to charity. Just as a reminder, Hayley has even allowed the organisers to handpick the song list for the shows! Stephany

Hi Stephany Thank you for the update. This festival is beginning to look very interesting and I'm getting quite excited about it! Do we know whether or not all performances will be the same? I couldn't find anything more than you have already stated. Wonder if I can afford to go to all five Lots of Love Grant xxx

I hope I'm right supposing that the tickets are not yet on sale ? Hello Karsten, Right you are! It's way too soon for an event that (technically) hasn't a venue yet. Do we know whether or not all performances will be the same? I couldn't find anything more than you have already stated. Grant, I strongly suspect that the shows will all be the same. It would be too much work to present five different performances in just a week! But hey, who knows with Hayley. I have asked Bedlam for confirmation but received an automated "out of office" reply. Alright for some, innit? HWI is working non-stop and they are out of office? What would they do without us? Stephany

Hi Mark, Welcome back! You've been missed - hope you enjoyed your days out with your family. Tickets were supposed to be on sale before Christmas but the main male singer had not signed a contract yet at the time. I suppose it delayed things a bit. We now know that Alfie Boe is in so the Festival organizers can start promoting the event adequatly and I suspect that tickets will be on sale in no time! Are you planning to go to all five shows, Mark? Of course, we still have to wait the confirmation from Bedlam management. Stephany

Hi Stephany Thanks for the "welcome back" and its nice to know that I was missed We had a good time thanks, the rain held off, we did lots of walking I'm not sure that I will be able to go to all 5 shows - however, I'm assuming that each show will be the same Lets see how the shows are advertised and then I'll make a decision. How about you, do you think you may make one of the dates ? Lots of love Mark x

How about you, do you think you may make one of the dates ? Sadly, I'm afraid I won't be able to make any of these dates. I will be starting my last year at University in France the same week! Lots of love, Stephany xx

Hi Stephany! Thank you for the update. That sounds very interesting, 5 concerts within 5 days. Before I decide if I go I think it might be useful to see what other Hayley concerts there will be this year, maybe some closer to an airport. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif ... but on the other hand there are 5 concerts in a row. There's still time to think about ... Love, Thomas

Hi Stephany, Mark, Thomas, Grant (and everyone else)! I'll be interested to see the price of tickets, though I fear that the costs of setting up the venue and the star names may make it a pricey affair, and if tickets are in the region of £50 then going to multiple shows becomes very expensive while it would be a very long trip just for one big concert. On the other hand, there looks to be plenty of golf from Grant's link... James
