Hi Roger
Like everyone else I am deeply shocked at your departure from HWI. For all the time I've been here you have been the heart of the forum and you will be sorely missed - your legacy is the continued growth and success of this forum.
Thanks for all you have done here over the years, and hoping you will continue to find enjoyment and inspiration from Hayley's music and that maybe sometime we will see you here again.
I've only met you two or three times, but I hope I'm allowed to say good luck, my friend, with whatever the future holds.
Kind regards
Colin

I'm still a little confused about what the song is about Me Too, So far I've had 3 ideas but none really fit completely. 1st idea: Hayley was talk to someone she loves (but then why "Tell me your name") 2nd idea: was the song was coming from a mothers perspective talking to a child. (but then why "Tell me your name" still doesn't fit) 3rd idea: is Hayley is talking to a stranger, somebody who's been hurt as "I won't Question" supports my idea here But I'd love to found out what Hayley's idea behind this song really is. Dean Hi Dean/Grant/Martin I think this is an interesting discussion. How about if it's to a prospective attachment, a prospective lover? Someone she wants to find out about, but who is too shy/tongue-tied to tell her. So "Talk To Me" is a plea - please talk to me, I want to know you, tell me anything, whatever's easiest for you, even if it's just to tell me your name. I just want to talk with you. And then I think the "to be" or "today" question comes down on the side of "to be" - because I think there are two words that are implied but missing there: "How it really feels to be [in love]". I agree with Martin that I suspect Hayley's involvement in this song is more on the lyrics side, as with her other collaborations. If this is the case then I would also guess that it is quite personal to her because it is certainly her tendency to write from the heart. Kind regards Colin

Hi Steve & Dave
I can only add my thanks for this video - it is sublime. I totally agree with Martin in that this is fulfilling the potential Hayley promised with Let Me Lie, Summer Rain and her collaborations on HSJS. The upcoming Christmas album is obviously going to be stunning but with songs like this the new studio album could be really special.
Thanks once again for sharing.
Kind regards
Colin

Paula Abdul's had a sudden spurt - after averaging less than 30 an hour for the past 12 hours she's increased by 250 in the past 45 minutes, similar to the spurt we saw Hayley have yesterday lunchtime (UK time). Just as well she's some way behind...

Hi all Has anyone else noticed now Hayley's score has gone beserk in the last 15 minutes. I registered vote about 44,002 or 44,003 then, but there's been more than 100 added since Kind regards Colin

Hi all
Has Hayley's button disappeared for anyone else again? It's not there for me now on Firefox 3.5.
Cheers

Hi all I found a new video on YouTube - new to me at least, it's been viewed more than half a million times, so I guess it's not that new really. Anyhow it's the first time I've seen it, and I couldn't find it mentioned here. I know some members particularly love Hayley singing acappella, so in case some have not seen it here's the link to Hayley singing Amazing Grace in 2006. Enjoy www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOrlCYp8TgU&feature=relatedKind regards Colin

Unlike other Hayley albums, I found it has taken a few listens to get to grips with, but now its true beauty is now shining through. It is GORGEOUS, and as Colin said, seems very personal in places. But it has a very different feel to HSJS1, even though the basic "formula" is much the same. Hi Martin My experience was exactly the same as yours with this. On first listening I wasn't sure about it, but repeating listenings are making me like it more and more. It does feel different from the first album, in places almost melancholic, but the beauty does shine through - and her voice is outstanding. Kind regards Colin
