Hi All, This December will mark the 13th anniversary since Hayley shone as 'The Littlest Star', at the Fendalton Primary School Christmas Concert, where she sang her solo with "perfect pitch". Hayley shines brighter and brighter... I'm really looking forward to reading the reports from this year's upcoming 'Christmas Presence' concerts! Regards, Andrew

I think you have started something there. Perhaps, logically, decadal references might be more relevant but it helps to remind us just how far she has come and, in time, a reminder of how each of us `came to discover her and a lovely reminder of that first time ever! Hi everyone For those of you who were unable to get to one of the Christmas Presence concerts, I thought that you may like to read an article in the programme all about Hayley. I certainly found a few bits of information that I didn't know. I had originally posted these in the Media thread but the first scans were not very clear and on Dave's suggestion, I feel they would be better posted here - enjoy !! Best regards Mark

Thank you for that effort, Mark. I was exceedingly put out when I found the entire audience without a copy at Harrogate! One of several Harrogate's 'unique' initiatives, but more details follow in sequence.

Hi All, Did anybody recognise the song entitled, 'Who Would Imagine a King?' which was included on Hayley's 'Christmas Presence' concert setlist? I believe the song was written by Whitney Houston and was performed by her in the film called, 'The Preacher's Wife' . Listening to Hayley's stunning rendition of this song at 'The Sage' in Gateshead on 14th December really gave me "goose pimples/ goosebumps" Here are the lyrics to that beautiful Christmas song: 'Who Would Imagine A King?'
Mommies and Daddies always believe That their little angels are special indeed And you could grow up to be anything But who would imagine a king?
A shepherd or teacher is what you could be Or maybe a fisherman out on the sea Or maybe a carpenter building things But who would imagine a king?
It was so clear when the wise men arrived And the angels were singing Your name That the world would be different coz you were alive That's why heaven stood still to proclaim
One day an angel said quietly That soon He would bring something special to me And all of the wonderful gifts He could bring Who would imagine Who could imagine Who would imagine a king?
[/size] Hayley... you were fantastic! Love, Andrew

Hi Andrew,
Thank you for picking up on that song because it was certainly one that made an impression on me when Hayley performed it in Swansea. No, I didn't recognise it, and I suspect I have never heard it before. I hope she retains it in her repertoire for next Christmas!

Hello Andrew
Thank you for posting the words to "Who would imagine a King" I too had never heard it before, and thought it truly beautiful when sung by Hayley.
Happy Hogmanay!
