Since Decca pay Hayley's wages, they call the shots. But I share Peter's concern that she may get herself a reputation for not honouring her commitments. I know people can get a refund but as we all know, seeing Hayley sometimes involves more than just buying a ticket. Some people may have made travel arrangements, booked a hotel, arranged to take time off work, etc. If I were a German fan I think I'd be feeling more than a little miffed as well ! Obviously Decca hope that the new album will win her a load of new fans. Regrettably, there may be some in Germany who feel that an organisation which treats them in such a manner no longer deserves their support. Let's hope not, but it's a risk.

You have the sympathies of all of us Holgar. We are all disappointed that our Hayley, who is always so considerate has somehow got herself into a position of cancelling and disappointing many. We also (those of us privileged to meet her enough times to gain sufficient insight) have some awareness of the management team behind her. We are therefore confident that something has happened that was not lightly entered into.
We do sincerely commiserate with all our German friends, known and unknown..

I think we can safely assume that it isn't Hayley's fault. She is not the one who arranges her schedule and I'm sure she is just as disappointed as those who had booked to see her. Roger

Roger I think that goes without saying, but well said Roger :rollin I remember back to Cadogan Hall 2 and Hayley's comments on how disappointing it must have been for Aled's fans when he was not able to be there. She would not have allowed this to happen without a very good reason, and I am sure that reason will become apparent soon. I add my commiserations to our German contingent, it must be disappointing, I know how I would feel if I had got all roused up for a concert that was canceled. I am sure Hayley will tour Germany again soon. Steve H

I agree. Hayley is one of the most sincere people I know and who clearly loves hers fans as much as singing. This cancellation would have been a great disappointment for her but we must trust that it was made in her best interests.

Thanks Peter. I have been an avid reader of both HWI and Hayleywestenra.com for a few months now (a late convert I'm afraid) and find them a great way to keep in touch with Hayley news, events, reviews and the multitude of views. It's only second best to seeing Hayley live!! Can I ask why there are two websites which are obviousyl very closely linked?
I have been fortunate to see Hayley twice this year (Gawsworth and Savill Court) and am hoping she does an Xmas concert in London.
I find a great way to browse HWI is to open HW.com and listen to Hayley singing in the background!

Hi Martin, In fact there are (or have been) at least a dozen websites for Hayley but HWI and HW.com are the oldest and biggest. So why more than one? HW.com is the Official site, run by Decca. HWI is an independent fan site originally created about five years ago. Although not offically an official site(!), we are fully endorsed and supported by Hayley and her management team. I like to think that makes us "semi-official". Any official site is unlikely to include much more than current (and fairly recent) news. We, on the other hand, have an extensive archive facility which enables us to host what is currently approaching 2,500 pages. We do not work *with* the offical site; neither do I see us as rivals. We work alongside them with one common aim - to help to promote and support Hayley in any way we can. There is another reason for HWI's existance. It's fun! Roger

I have been fortunate to see Hayley twice this year (Gawsworth and Savill Court) and am hoping she does an Xmas concert in London. Welcome to the forum Martin! Yes, you are right. A Christmas concert in London, best on a Saturday, would be perfect. London is best to reach from Germany for another weekend trip. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI was a little upset the last days due to the cancellation. I just want to make sure that I totally agree with all of you in the opinion that Hayley wanted the tour as well and she also might be as disappointed as all of the German fans. Thomas

Hi Martin.
I find there have been some 90 posts since I last posted so I am sure the questions you ask have already been answered by Roger for one, if not Dave or may be Andrew, Richard or Stuart or... they will have been answered!
Sorry you missed Cadogan Square of which posted results you should have read. Regarding Gawsworth, then what a pity we did not meet up. Regarding Saville Court I do not recollect anyone attending on this forum so, why not provide us with your view on Saville Court--and doubtless someone will now point out there was one and I missed it!
If I find your other questions have not been answered as i catch up[ on posts, I'll add a rider or another post.
Peter S.

AMEN To that!!!! I couldn't live without you guys (and gals) now! Keep up the good work. Grant My 'Amen' to that too, Grant. Why else am I going to Canterbury BUT! I went to Cadogan the second time only for the HWI camaraderie as Hayley was ONLY singing three songs but glad I went for a most extraordinary concert which i thrilled to PLUS the superb sharing of Hayley's company with us after the show. Canterbury, well, now I am really kicking myself for having been so slow on the uptake as it is a Hayley show completely! I guess were I to go to photobucket and put in the search feature 'dunce' I'd get a smiley with a dunce's cap which I well deserve! Peter S.

Peter S. I think that you will find that Mark attended and made a post on the official forum before he became a crossover artist. I shall leave it to Mark to update you.
