Hayley opened for Il Divo at Warwick Castle last night, and there are a few mentions on Il Divo's forum this morning.

It would be interesting to know:
a. whose security people--Warwick's or Il Divo's?
b. If Warwick's, then it would seem they are simply not accustomed to this sort of function.
c. Regardless, what relevance is A/V equipment to security? The relevance of A/V equipment is to do with misuse of copyright but that is not the same thing as security in the context of public safety and the performers' personal safety. Sounds like the wrong guys badly trained to do the wrong job--yes, I suspect I've entertained a couple of double negatives in that!

In any case, Warwick requires good public relations and so if their own people were used one would have expecte4d them to be better trained with awareness of public sensitivities. Unless, of course, they are part of the 'period exhibits' demonstrating mediaeval tortures in public view!

Hayley looked like an angel in the pictures that we have seen of her. She is so beautiful. I wished that when we had the opportunity to see her in February at the Gibson Amphatheatre that the 4 drunken baboons I had sitting behind me would have kept their mouth shut so that I could have appreciated her music a little more in person. I did buy her cd and I listen to it at home. She is such a lovely person.

I hadn't heard Hayley's voice live before and I couldn't help thinking how mature it was for one so young. A lovely voice and an unusual repertoire of songs made her sound unique. The only thing that was slightly concerning was that very nice but rather flimsy dress she was wearing for a night that was rapidly turning quite cold!
