Thanks Richard....I'll collect it next time I'm in London. However credit goes to Marianne my wife, who told me the differences in hairdo detail without even having to refer to the pics.
That picture with Hayley signing at Cadogan is now in a frame next to the 'Hayley music' player.

Hello Stuart! That last set of photographs is superb. I'm sure I've seen that picture of the shifty guys on a poster outside the Police Station! I know who they are, but I'm not going to grass! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes, Richard

Hello again everybody! There is an interesting article in this week's New Zealand News UK. They get the date of the concert wrong, but I've corrected it in the transcript. www.nznewsuk.co.uk/lifestyle/?ID=3030Westenra sings with angels (13/6/2006)by Erica Fosbender Kiwi songstress Hayley Westenra seems to inspire celestial adjectives and her recent charity performance at London’s Cadogan Hall, in Sloane Terrace, on June 6, was no exception. The concert was in aid of Global Angels – an umbrella charity with UNICEF of which Westenra is a Goodwill Ambassador. "The Global Angels concert was a pleasure to do," she says. "It was fun. There was an increased vibe, a real atmosphere." And it was all for a good cause – the Step Up campaign that helps feed a child in Asia and Africa for a year for £40. She was accompanied by Kiwi violinist Fiona Pears, singer Juliet Pochin and trio Tenors Unlimited. Westenra says it was great to share the evening with fellow Kiwi musician Pears – "It’s great, we’re on the same scene. I felt proud to be a Kiwi". This was just one concert in Westenra’s hectic schedule that will see her sing at the official World Cup concerts in Germany, perform numerous other concerts in the northern hemisphere as well as record television shows in Ireland and Canada. But she’s philosophical about her hectic schedule. "I can’t complain. I was just touring with Il Divo and got a taste of Europe. "I want to make the most of these opportunities. I’m still in the early stages, trying to establish myself. I have to work hard and just go for it." And that means living out a suitcase and grabbing what spare time she has for a whirlwind visit to her hometown Christchurch – that next window will be in July. "I saw a free two weeks. I have to grab it or I’ll regret it." Kiwis can look forward to seeing Westenra perform at Toast, on July 15, along with Dave Dobbyn and Jayson Norris. "I’m really looking forward to it. I’ve never been before. "It will be a real celebration of New Zealand culture." But she won’t be able to hang around for too long with another concert in Cardiff that evening.

I thought with all the gigs that are on the books I thought she shelved that idea? Rodders Christchurch NZ

Hi Rodders,
Yes, Hayley is planning to return to Christchurch for a break but she told me last night it has now been put back to August. A little time out is long overdue and I think it will happen this time.

Hi All Roger alluded last week to an opportunity to hear that Hayley's voice is as wonderful as ever, contrary to one review of the Huddersfield concert. Well now you can judge for yourself. Here are four videos taken by me at Cadogan Hall with a very small hand held digital camera. There is nearly 14 minutes of video which includes Hine e Hine, Mummers Dance, In Trutina, Pokarekare Ana and Water Is Wide. The quality of picture and sound is surprisingly very good given the limitations of the venueand the equipment With special thanks to Simon for posting them and Dave, who painstakingly cleaned up the audio. Many thanks, Stuart. These fine videos serve as a permanent reminder of a wonderful evening for those of us who were furtunate enough to attend, and are a great means of sharing our experiences with others. Like Stuart says folks, enjoy! Roger

Thanks Roger.
That was the first time I heard The Mummer's Dance and I managed to get a special Asian Edition of Pure from Singapore (from eBay, which arrived on Saturday). Now I cant stop singing it. Has Hayley performed this song in the UK before?

Hi Stuart,
I'm just downloading the Water is wide video i can't wait i've never seen Hayley perform that. Hayley sang Mummers dance when she was home earlier in the year seems like a life time ago. I think Roger mentioned to Hayley that it was the first time he's seen her perform it in the Uk and Hayley was surprised. Thank you Stuart for making the video's available and all your photo's Belinda
