Hi Raymond, Becky and Portia, I am shocked and dismayed to hear about the 'signing coupons'. I have never heard of such a thing before. I'm sure if Hayley had realised what had happened, she would want to apologise for it but, of course, it wasn't her fault. In a worst-case scenario, this could have backfired on the store. If everyone had done as you had done Raymond, and already bought Odyssey, they would not have sold any and Hayley would have had nothing to sign. How embarrassing would that have been? Hopefully you will all be able to attend a concert soon. Then you will have a very good chance of taking some photos, getting a few things signed and just spending a few minutes with her. Hayley genuinely appreciates the support she recieves from fans like you and she would want to thank you for it. Better luck next time. Roger

Hi Raymond, Wow, I just took a look at your site and the photos from the event. Brilliant photos from yourself and Becky . Good to see Hayley joined by Fiona and Ian again, are they ever apart?? I liked the layout they had, nice stage and a great poster for the background. It seemed to be sponsored by Panasonic and in one of the photos, Hayley seems to be posing with one of their products. Raymond, I spotted in the photos P1040313, P1040314 and P1040315 in gallery 1, Hayley was presented with a plaque for the 'Pure' album. Do you know what this was for, was it for overall sales of 'Pure'?? Cheers, Emmett

Hello Raymond and Becky! I'm also disappointed that you weren't able to meet Hayley, but it definitely wasn't her fault. I hope you meet her at a concert soon, then I promise you'll feel better! Best Wishes from London, Richard

Great shot, Billy. I am a little bit jealous of you because I don't have the chance to take a picture with Hayley. Anyway, Hayley is very beautiful in this picture.

Just to throw my own tuppence' worth in here, although I don't condone the practice of issuing "signing coupons," it isn't unheard of, nor are restrictions on signing. Carnegie Hall only permits the signing of CDs, prefereably bought on the premises, the artists aren't permitted to sign anything else, the Hall's rule, not theirs, resulting in interventions from guards and frequently apologies from artists, although the venue tells you up fron they'll only sign CDs. Barnes and Noble, same deal, they tell you up front CDs only, no memorabilia, and at least once I remember an event where you were given one "signing ticket" for each other item you bought, i.e. if you bought five books, the artist would sign 5 items. But if I'm not mistaken that event particular event was close to Xmas when people would be buying lots of stuff anyway. The newer venues, such as the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia or the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, do not do this, though, usually the artists sign whatever is presented.
And I might add, I wonder if some Newark folks are still not too happy with Hayley for missing a promised signing after the Boston Pops concert tour stop there last December, although I can tell you for a fact that was the Pops' tour manager's decision, NOT hers, this from her mouth and the venue's. By hook and crook I did catch up to her afterwards and wished her a Merry Xmas, but that had to leave a bad taste in the mouths of other folks who paid a premium price (about 20% more than you would in the store) for Pure based on a sign that promised a signing and then were denied, believe me, I know what that feels like too. It isn't nice at all, but sometimes the venues and promoters will do things like that, and you can either put up, shut up, or, if you have bought things on the promise of something and been denied, insist on your money back, money talks like few other things do.
