Well, after about half an hour of listening to Hayley sing live, my opinion of her singing hasn't changed a bit. She is quite a nice person. At least, she was nice enough to let me poke her on the arm as she exited.

Hi, I went to festival walk to see Hayley today. I am with Becky and Bonnie. When I arrived ,there are not many people, we waited and Hayley appeared at 3:15 pm, Hayley performed many songs and was asked some questions about her Asia tour. Hayley also said a Cantonese sentence' Ng coi sai' , this means thank you. But this is not the accurate one because in Cantonese, we have two different phrase to show thank you. One is 'Ng coi sai', this one is used when someone do something for you, you want to show your appreciation. For example, someone help you to do some work, we should say this one. The other one is' duo tse sai', this is the accurate one . When you want to say' thank you for you support 'etc, you should use this one. I don't know if my explanation is accurate, but I am happy that Hayley speak my language. Later, the autograph session began, I was told that if I want to get a autograph, I need to buy another Odyssey from them, I think they should not force me to buy another one, I have bought mine on Wednesday , so I decided not to get the signed Odyssey, but later my friend Billy had two signed Odyssey, when I saw that, I suddenly want to have that very much, so I bought one from him. The one I brought (which I originally would like Hayley to sign) I decided to give it to Becky as a gift , but Becky later pay me $70. Thank you, Becky. In concluson, this event is very good because I can see Hayley ,but I am sad that I don't have the chance to talk with Hayley. I hope Hayley would hold a concert in HK later. I will put all the photos on my website later, when I finish, I will tell all of you. This is one of them. Cheers, Raymond

Raymond, it should be me who should say thank you to you, coz you sold Odyssey to me lower than the market price!! Besides, the 2 explanations of "thank you" is correct.
By the way, let me mention sth that Raymond forgot to metion --- the songs that Hayley sang today!! She sang 6 songs from the new album today, including Prayer, Never Saw Blue, Ave Maria, Both Sides Now, What You Never Know (Won't Hurt You), and I Say Grace. It was really Brrrrrravo!!!!! I was just feeling like listening to the CD!! Her live performance was really perfect! I hope she will come to Hong Kong again very soon and have a concert here!~~

I also forgot to mention that the big TV was broadcasting the own video of' What you never know' before Hayley arrived. It is very good.

Thank you Becky and Raymond,
That was a very nice pic of Hayley, Raymond! Sorry that you couldn't get your CD signed. Fancy having to actually buy one right there in order to get it signed. Maybe soon you will get to talk to Hayley.
Glad you liked the performance Becky!
Best wishes from the USA... Joe

I think it is a HK way to promote a CD like that because HK is a money world. You need to pay for everything. I also like the performance very much. I have uploaded my photos here. www.freewebs.com/hwestenra2/index.htmCheers, Raymond
