The Detroit Symphony announced on its website that Hayley will give a special Mother's Day concert in May 2005.
Their statement reads:
Just 17 years old, she burst on the classical music scene with a debut album that went triple platinum on European charts and thrilled U.S. audiences with appearances on Good Morning America, international singing sensation Haley (sic) Westenra joins the DSO for a very special Mother’s Day concert to sing highlights from her debut CD, Pure, featuring an eclectic mix of music by Schubert, Gunoud (sic) and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Funny, I don't recall any Schubert, Gounod or Lloyd Webber on Pure.
