Exclusive news from HWI...you'll see it here first... Hayley will be at Allentown's Symphony Hall on April 29 at 8:00. PBS station WLVT-39 are also giving tickets for pledge incentives!
Allentown is not far from me at all and I WILL be attending this concert. Hopefully I'll have a chance encounter to meet Hayley like you lot have! Although Hayley isn't listed at Symphony Hall's schedule, I've made enquiries to ensure that it is.
I hope I can sleep tonight!

Symphony Hall has no knowledge of Hayley's concert. All they did is refer me back to station WLVT member services. Now I'll have to ring them at work to find out what's what. Looks like the station is arranging this. A pair of tickets to Hayley's concert at the above venue and time are only $140 for a member pledge. What a small price to pay.

Having looked further into this, it appears that the only way to get tickets for this event is to make that $140 pledge to WVLT. That gets you a pair of tickets.
Keith.

Yes, Keith. I rang member services this morning and that's exactly what they said. An e-mail from them also said the exact thing. Here's a portion of the e-mail... "The Hayley Westenra concert is a members only benefit for WLVT-TV, PBS 39. You can get two tickets to see the concert for a donation of $140.00 to the station. If you would like make a donation, I (Kathleen Raisch) can be reached at 610-984-8133." However during non-working hours it might be easier to make a pledge on the WVLT website (www.wlvt.org), click on join/renew, then click on Hayley's pic and follow the instructions. I've pledged twice, so I have four tickets.

Great news...I'll still get to see Hayley in Allentown!!!!!!!!! I've gotten a very nice letter from PBS 39 saying that the show has simply been rescheduled as early as the autumn. Read the letter here from WLVT...http://www.wlvt.org/hwestenra-letter.htm Great stuff! The show will go on..........

This is certainly good news for everyone. However, it does prompt at least one question for me. This was originally part of this cancelled/postponed tour. They say postponed to the fall of 2005. Ottawa, also part of the postponed tour are saying spring 2006. I wonder which it is? i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifHopefully, that will start more people talking on ere. Keith.

Rescheduling concerts for this year is the way to do it if "PBS" refunds are difficult or impossible to arrange. The rest of the tour (assuming that ticket refunds are given) can then be fitted in with the launch of Hayley's new album in US in the Spring of 2006. So... if that's what will happen, well done to Hayley's management for getting out of a tricky situation - especially for concerts with pledge tickets. It may also answer Keith's question about the two completely different dates?

Hello Dave, One possibility is that Hayley might be in New York City doing chat shows and media appearances to promote her new CD. Then she could pop over to Pennsylvania and do a one-off concert in Allentown. Sounds like a good plan to me if it were to happen.
Happy Easter to all...hope you've all remembered to set your clocks ahead one hour in the UK...in the USA we return to summer time next Sunday.
