I was very lucky to meet Hayley and Jill at the signing after the St Johns Concert last week with my brother, and as a bonus to meet Roger, Dave and Richard for the first time. With Hayley shortly moving on to her world tour, and not returning to these shores until late spring, the fellowship of other Hayley fans will have to get us all through this long Winter. I aim to take an active part in your forum, contributing where I can, watching, and listening. Lets all hope that when Hayley returns to the UK it is for another spell living in London.

Thanks everybody for your kind support, In answer to Belinda's question I first noticed Hayley on a Russell Watson site, then I got the Russell Watson Concert DVD, and heard Hayley sing Pokarekare Ana and I dreamed a dream, and I was hooked, never before had a voice had such an instant impact on me, but even more important is that Hayley has such a lovely personality, she and her family make time for her fans. I look froward to meeting both her and members of this forum again in the future.

Hi Steve,
You may well have made Belinda's day because she is a manager of Hayley and Russell's site.
I first heard Hayley's voice on Classic FM but, other than that, my feelings about her voice and her personality are much the same as yours.
Roger

Hello again Steve! I first came across Hayley in September 2003 when I found "Pure" on a listening post in Borders in Oxford Street, just round the corner from the London Palladium where I saw and met Hayley for the second time in March last year. St. John's Smith Square was the tenth time! Not surprisingly, my feelings about Hayley and her voice are the same as yours and Roger's. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifIncidentally, I think your avatar is set to 65 pixels square, but you can enlarge it in your profile to 100 pixels square. Then we could all see you and Hayley a little bit better! Merry Christmas, and I hope to meet you again in 2006. Richard

Hi All, Thank you for your kind welcome, I feel part of the HWI family already! As a newbie and to assist any other new menbers are there any rules regarding which areas we can post in and which areas to leave to the Managers, Administrators and Moderators? I am sure none of us want to tread on anybody's toes by posting in the wrong areas. Are there any plans for a live chat area for when thing like on Hayley and Russell site? Thanks again Steve Hayter

Hi Steve,
The "Announcements" Board is the only board on the forum to which members cannot post. As it's title suggests, it is reserved for special announcements made by Admins and Mods. Other than that, you are very welcome to post anywhere, to start new threads, etc. Admittedly there are occasions when it is not obvious where to post. For example, I recently found a press review of one of Hayley's concerts. Should I have posted it in "Hayley in Concert", "Concert Reviews", or "Hayley in the Media"? Any of those would have been equally appropriate. As there was already a review of the same concert by one of our own members, I chose to keep it with that. If necessary, a post can always be moved by one of the Moderators!
The possibility of a chat area (chat room) was discussed a few months ago but the decision was made that it was not practical from the point of view of moderating, bearing in mind we are an international forum spanning 24 time zones. OMG!
Other than that, post away!
Roger
