Hi Dave,
many thanks to our wmv-expert.
I've just downloaded the files and will watch them as an appetizer like Richard and Roger.
Thanks again and all the best,
Karsten

Thanks for posting up the videos. I watched a little bit - it looks like a great show.
Too bad Hayley didn't win. She lost to Katherine Jenkins last time - Katherine had the salmon that time, by the way.
I couldn't help but notice. Were Hayley and Jonathan holding their forks in their right hands? I thought you Brits held it in the left hand? Sorry, but I notice random things sometimes.

Hello everyone Just got round to watching my video recording of the show and thoroughly enjoyed it. Enjoyed the duet too - a highlight of the show. Both Hayley and Jonathan seemed to be having a great time. Pity Hayley didn't win but it did look quite close. Last time I watched the show, the audience held up appropriate cards - the keypad system seems fairer. Just a question though (and this isn't sour grapes) but how come Jonathan's fans knew in advance, and got to be in the audience, and we didn't? Maybe if some of us had been there, we could have tipped the balance. Best wishes Grant

I think the simple answer is that when using a knife and fork, most of us will hold our forks in the left hand and use the knife to cut with the right hand. When using a single implement, whether it be a fork or a spoon, we tend to hold it in the right hand. Hope that helps. Best wishes Grant

Thanks for the Videos DaveYou are right ! The replay system will not work for residents outside the UK. which I well understand as it is the UK residents who pay the Licence fee to the BBC, whom I greatly admire for the wonderful services they have provided for so many years. So thanks for the chance to see this highly amusing programme I have to admit I went straight to part 3 for the song and then parts one and two..........

Thanks for that Libby, the things that reappear, years later! I looked on the channel's website and that episode is listed to be playable but when I did that, it was a completely different episode, they have messed up there. But I looked it up on the BBC website and Hayley's one with Jonathan is Series 18 Episode 51... just in case it reappears in the future as I'd like to re-record it off TV because we only have a low quality version that I obtained off the BBC website (and somebody 'borrowed' for their Youtube Channel). I broke it up into 3 parts, they are still here if anyone is interested (but windows media files may cause some people problems, I *could* re-encode them though). Ready Steady Cook - Part 1 of 3 (9 minutes+, 500 kbps, 34MB) Ready Steady Cook - Part 2 of 3 (9 minutes+, 500 kbps, 32MB) Ready Steady Cook - Part 3 of 3 (10 minutes, 500 kbps, 36MB) Cheers, Dave

Haha, when I saw it, I almost thought maybe it was something new (wishful thinking), but it's too obvious that it's old.

It's the wrong episode again, Series 19 episode 1 or 2. Hayley's is Series 18 Episode 51, they seem to have mixed up some of the series numbers and programme descriptions.
Shambolic!
