Many thanks Dave for the recording. Hayley was both brilliant and beautiful. This type of haunting tune really does suit Hayley and extends her versatility.
But I have a question - was it performed live? Hayley was the only performer with a microphone so I wondered if it had been pre-recorded.

Martin Hi Martin, I just used your post as an excuse to play my copy again. Hayley stood at her own mike just touching it. The choir behind Hayley also had a very business like looking mike & the studio was quite "dressed up" so there could be others that I missed. Very unlikely to have been prerecorded I'd say. Any contrary views?? Graeme  PS With reference to Hayley's looking beautiful, she wore that same "cuter than cute" outfit in both the winery concerts we recently attended in NZ. Richard Hi Richard & Graeme I watched it again (and again i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif) and I would now agree with you. It just amazes me these days that the standard of studio sound is such that you can't tell the difference between and a live performance and the recording. Perfection! Mind you, I think Hayley has something to do with it as well. Best wishes Martin |

Yes I keep replaying it too, both the TV performance and the CD. For one thing I think they have finally cracked recording Hayley's voice, and for another this is a very beautiful song. The rest of the album takes a few hearings to get your brain round, so it needs something with instant appeal to grab the listener, and Hayley's performance does exactly that.
MOTS drips quality, not surprising considering the musical geniuses that are involved, I know we are all hugely impressed by Hayley's performance, but the rest of the show/album is pretty impressive too!

Simply stunning, I really hope this collaboration could show the entire world Hayley's talent. With over 40 million's disc sold worldwide, Mike is well knowed everywhere and there are a lot of Mike's fan who are Hayleywoved right now, I'm sure of it. Emil |

Hayley's performance on this show was simply magnificent - in fact in my opinion it was the best I have ever heard her sound....
Is it just me, or is Mike a little "terse"?
