Hi Paddy, I have at last managed to deal with this broadcast and it's complete, including the announcer's introduction and 'exit'. What a nightmare it was too! One of the reasons why I was reluctant to post earlier was that my recording from Sky Digital - usually of excellent technical quality - fell short on this occasion. Distortion was noticeable at times. When you posted the BBC podcast and downloads, I immediately noticed distortion on them too - though it is slightly less than on my recording. So it must be a fault on the original recording or at the studios, very annoying. I've used the best bits of the three recordings I have - yours for the middle 90%, the start from my recording and the ending from where it was hidden away all along - stuck on the beginning of the next show, "The Evening Show" i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Then I spliced them together and I hope you can't easily spot the joins! Once again, I am now convinced that the periodic slight distortion that keen eared listeners will notice originated at the BBC in Cardiff (because it was on their podcast and Listen Again too). Thanks once again for your assistance with this. Hayley in Concert - complete as broadcast (35 minutes, 64kbps, 16 MB) Cheers, Dave

Thank you so much. It was the first time I heard Hayley sing Let Me Lie in a live show.

For anyone who doesn't know this already: Dave is brilliant! And you've got me 'off the hook' too: I felt an awful ass for not mentioning the 'clipping' at the end! (Too busy reclaiming the young ladies!) And the quality was a bit off in places. It never occurred to me that the 'clipped' end would be at the beginning of the next item! The announcer's introduction was in the 'Listen Again' but I cut it myself as of no interest to anyone. Now, the 'Listen Again' seems to have disappeared from Radio Wales's list! It's great now to have a proper ending - thanks to yourself! And the moral of the story: "Fools rush in, where angels fear to tread." Looking forward to meeting you sometime ... Paddy

Hi all, A very big thank you to Paddy & Dave for the BBC Wales recording. Thanks Graeme for the setlist. This was the first time I heard 'Let me Lie' and 'One fine day' in a live performance and was totally blown away! Especially 'Let me lie' which is probably THE song I love the most. I would love to hear it in concert. It could be a good opportunity for Hayley to showcase her songwriter talents Loved the 'phew' of relief after 'One Fine Day' ...and 'Summer Fly' worked very well, I think. I really like the part where Fiona does a solo in-between. Many thanks to everyone who contributed to this amazing recording. Stephany

Dave and Paddy,
A big thank you for recording this concert. I've just finished listening as I type and it's magical. I also didn't spot the joins, so great job Dave!
It's also nice to hear some different songs performed live that have not been part of the recent setlist. That last note in One Fine Day is amazing.
Cheers,
James

That last note in One Fine Day is amazing. Isn't it? But 'One Fine Day' is a difficult song and I understand why Hayley is reluctant to perform it during concerts. Not that she cannot do it - but it's still risky. Stephany xx

It may have been a "nightmare" for you but you certainly did a great job and I really appreciate it. I like others, really enjoyed, Let Me Lie, but it was all enjoyable; just to short ! However a longer 'nightmare' was avoided for you.! 'Happy New Year to you Dave' and 'Thank You' for all your efforts we get the benefit of. Graham
