I have just caught the last 15 minutes. I heard Prayer, Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, sung by Hayley and O Holy Night (she does sing that beautifully) as an encore with Paul Byrom. Fabulous!

Hi, I enjoyed the ( far to short ) program. It was nice to hear Fiona Pears and Hayley was in good form ( of course- when isn't she ! ) A nice way to start Christmas. Best Wishes, Graham

Hi again, Northern Lights!
Download Graeme's version instead;
... then you'll have the 'NCH of Oz'!
You know ... the one from the Wizard
(otherwise known by the name 'Graeme')!

Well done Paddy,
You beat me to it....I started at 8am our time so had no trouble getting out of bed. We have our "gathering" part of Christmas on Christmas Eve so we have a quiet day ahead of us.

Well done Paddy, You beat me to it.... No! Not so!We were both trying to do a little favour for a young lady who asked nicely. Isn't it nice that there were two of us? It's now 00.45 on Christmas morning here. More (family) celebrations later today ... Best Wishes to you and yours! Paddy

We'd better hide, Graeme!

Hayley will be on Radio Wales on Christmas Eve - I guess its the concert recorded in June. Those outside the principality will have to use the BBC player on the internet and of course it will be available for one week after if the usual rules apply to BBS Wales programs This may give a clue Paddy. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBut I didn't notice even when finding the FM Station & working out the equivalent times here & whatnot. I don't think dfcf can edit his thread still..... help moderators.Don't worry dfcf, we knew that you meant RTE Dublin Ireland, not BBC Wales & December 4th not June. We just were too busy to notice. Graeme PS Just searched BBC Wales just in case. Could find no mention of a recording being available around Christmas.

I don't think dfcf can edit his thread still..... help moderators.Hi Graeme, If you are requesting that dfcf's opening post or the thread title should be changed, no they shouldn't. This thread is supposed to be about the concert broadcast on BBC Radio Wales. Shortly after the thread was begun, for understandable reasons, one or two members expressed the hope that it would not clash with the broadcasting of the RTE Concert. Then, in Reply No 6, you posted links to the Irish concert which caused the thread to drift severely off topic thereby causing the confusion. Unfortunately, it will take a significant amount of work to put it right now and so we have little choice but to leave everything as it is. However, I must request that any further discussion about the Irish event MUST be made to the appropriate thread. Thanks, Roger
