I was looking for news related to Hayley's current Japanese tour but I found information about her previous promotional tours instead. Hayley performed a duet with Yu Kashii in Tokyo on February 11, 2005. Yu plays in the movie 'Lorelei' but she is also a singer and one of her dreams was to sing with Hayley. They both sang 'Wiegenlied' accompanied by Mika Uematsu on the harp. There was a Q&A session with the audience afterwards.
It was Hayley's third visit to Japan. She said she enjoyed singing in Japanese for the movie. Someone asked her in which languages she could sing and she answered "French, German and Maori...but now also Japanese i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif". She said it was a real honour to meet Yu Kashii although it was a bit strange because she first saw her in the movie. The Japanese actress replies that - on the contrary - she was the one who was completely starstruck, although being the same age. Hayley was then offered a flower bouquet.
