Hi Northern Lights,
For once, that was an easy choice. I like every track. I like some tracks very much but the best by far IMO is 'I Dreamed A Dream.

Hi Northern Lights,
Tricky, but I've gone with "Love Changes Everything" because I think it best represents the quality of 13 year old Hayley's singing and the high note at the end is a goosebump moment.
However, if she sang "Somewhere" like she did at the Mermaid Theatre last year, it could have been a close run thing.

Hi, I like them all but my favourite is not there... River of Dreams. Graham No, it wouldn't be, Graham. The question asks for your favourite track from the album entitled HW. Roger

They are all great, but my favorite isn't listed because it's not on the CD. It's "Across The Universe of Time". The song flows beautifully and I really enjoy the high harmony. Gene

Roger Now I see that !!! but I did not find the original question clear. I read the subject as ;- Re: Fave Song off HW? Not the CD I have not got around to listen to that CD yet so I was not familiar with the listing. it is in my new pile of Christmas purchases, I had to get it shipped in from the USA so it has only just arrived. Sorry Northern Lights you had better try and change your title or others will make the same mistake as me!! Graham

Roger It was pretty easy for me as well Roger.....I voted for IDAD as well. After a couple of listens I felt it was the standout track on a surprisingly strong CD. "Mists of Islay", and "Love Changes Everything" are pretty close..... Was it me, or did some of the other songs seemed.....rushed? Jon

Was it me, or did some of the other songs seemed.....rushed? It is interesting that you ask that question, Jon. I have never noticed it but the question was asked before (a very long time ago) so it just might be the case. Graham, the fact that we are on the 'Hayley Westenra' album sub-board might be a slight clue. Roger

Here's what I posted over four years ago and it's true to this day... Ok, my favourite song on the self-titled CD has to Wishing You Were Here Again. It's quite simply a wonderful song and yet it has a haunting melody. Rounding out the top five...I Dreamed a Dream, Mists of Islay (a lovely song), Bright Eyes and finally Love Changed Everything. Hayley's voice on the Amazing Grace track is so graceful and strong. You have to love the Royal Scots Pipe and Drum performance!!! I'm hoping Decca/Universal are planning to release Hayley's very limited (1,000 only) CD 'Walking in the Air'?! I'll prob. listen to the CD again. I'll certainly be having a Happy Hayley Christmas!

Hi Northern Lights,
There are many songs that I love off the album, but I am going to go for 'Amazing Grace', it is one of, if not the most beautiful versions of the song I have heard.
