Hi everyone I have'nt bought or read a national newspaper for many years, so I'm not likely to be the one to spot Hayley should she appear in the national press i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif However, I do like to keep an eye on whats happening in my home town and therefore always buy our local weekly paper, the Banbury Guardian. You can imagine my surprise then when reading this weeks copy last night, I turned the page to find this ..... There isnt really anything about Hayley in the main text - see next to her photo. Its mainly to let us locals know how effective the "Livearts" project has been in bringing outside performers to the town. Incidently, St Mary's Church was the first church in the country to obtain a drinks licence - alcoholic drinks are on sale in the interval at concerts Of course, the concert at St Mary's was my very first Hayley performance - almost exactly 2 years ago. If she had not decided to come to Banbury, I most likely would not have become a fan and i would have missed out on two fabulous years of live performances, meeting and chatting to all my HWI friends and of course, Hayley herself. Best wishes Mark

Hi Mark, Thanks for posting the scan of your local journal. The size of the picture is impressive too given how little she is featured in the article. I guess she did quite a good impression in your hometown when she came to St Mary's Church. I don't think I'm wrong if I say that you're hoping to see her again in your town soon for a concert? Lots of love Stephany xx

Hi Mark,
Thanks for posting that. There may not be much said about Hayley but, of all the artists who have appeared in St Mary's in the last two years or so, it is a great compliment that her photograph was chosen to accompany the article.
Just for the record, she was accompanied that night by Fiona and Ian. The songlist was as follows:
Pokarekare Ana Ave Maria (Cacchini) Who Painted the Moon Black? Bridal Ballad What You Never Know Amazing Grace Prayer May It Be Never Saw Blue In Trutina Hine e Hine Ave Maria (Schubert)

Hi Mark! Thanks for the scan! Hayley seems to have made a big impression to St. Mary's church. But who can resist such a wonderful person and performer? Thomas
