Noooooooooooooooo!! The broadcast date I posted above was not the good one. Hayley was interviewed on Classic Hits today (not on Friday). Apparently, she talked about the Rugby World Cup. I was dying to know her opinion on the All Blacks loss and I missed this! GRRRRR!! There is no podcast available. I sent an email to the radio to request at least a transcript but I don't think they will be able to provide us with one.

Not just an internationally renowned singer but now also a published author! Hayley’s new book “In Her Own Voice” is the story of an ordinary girl with an extraordinary voice, who suddenly found herself internationally famous and hanging out with the likes of Tony Blair and George Bush and Andre Bocelli. With that kind of company you can be sure she has some amazing stories to tell. One such story brought gasps of horror in our studio, when we found out she is the All Blacks honorary mascot, always singing the anthem at their European games, in fact whenever possible… except for THAT one. Instead it was the French National Youth Choir. Obviously Hayley is the good luck charm, and because she didn’t sing WE LOST! Well, that’s the theory anyway. Poor Justin…still looking for answers…

ANYWAY… if you’d like to MEET Hayley you can – she’s doing a book and CD signing at The Warehouse Sylvia Park this Friday (27 October) from 12 noon to 1pm.
