Our good forum friend and member “scoobedoo” from New Zealand sent me some info about a rising Dutch singer called Emma Kok. At the age of 13 Emma won The Voice Kids Netherlands in 2021. Both Emma and André Rieu were born in the city of Maastrict, and last year Emma sang “Violá” at his concert in Vrijthof Square in the heart of the city. Emma has joined André on his world tour this year.
Emma suffers from a condition in which her stomach cannot properly process food, called gastroparesis. She has to take in nutrients via an abdominal feeding tube.
