You may have noticed some recent spam threads/posts in the forum, all seemingly from Vietnam and posted in Vietnamese. We try to remove these and the spammer's account quickly - as do proboards themselves - but this isn't automatic and if none of the staff are online for several hours, the spam may be visible for longer than any of us would like.
Sometimes, members send a private message about spam to one of the forum staff and we are grateful for this - but Reporting the offending posts via the Post Options cog
at the top-right of each offending post (not this one!) is even better, as an email advice is automatically sent to several forum staff and whoever sees it first can act. All you need to say for the reason is 'spam' so it's quick and easy.
If "SPAM - PLEASE REPORT' or similar appears inside a new thread title or content, this is done automatically by the system, based on certain key words or characters we've set - but that does not do anything else so it should still (we hope) be reported.
