This is one of my favourites, Sibéal seems to be at her best with other people, but that's just an opinion and it may not be true.

Thanks Paul, they are delightful and haunting. As you said her music is what I would call “Marmite” music! when I said it was an acquired taste, I didn't mention which side of the fence I was on. But when she sings other material she has a most beautiful tone. I am in awe of her capability and potential. As teenagers we would have heard a lot of sean nos on the radio and TV, it may have been our parents type of music and being dutiful teenagers we probably treated it the way most teenagers view the music their parents listen to.

Ah yes we have one of Allie's cds, she plays on the streets here regularly. and to keep it on thread, I have Sibeal's debut album too, some good tracks on it.
