There's going to be a new series on Amazon about the Second Age of Middle Earth (all the movies were set in the Third Age), which is set to debut in 2021. A long way off, but is there hope yet for Hayley to have a part in Tolkien related soundtracks? However, it's still extremely early. We also don't know if that's the beginning or end of 2021, and I would have absolutely no idea whom to contact regarding this. I read a couple of articles giving all the information there is to be had on the topic, and although several names were mentioned, it was not clear to me if there was even going to be one specific person in charge of everything. Also there are hints that Peter Jackson might become involved in some way. However, they are under a contract to keep things true to the story (The Hobbit strayed a bit too far for many fans' liking (mine included).
Hopefully, Hayley's album will be out by then, and we'll know what type of musical direction she's taken, and whether she would still even be considered for such a thing. I do have some doubts about that. I did see somewhere that the show would be filmed in NZ, so hopefully that would help matters. I certainly think Hayley spent enough time in NZ this year that I think she must have gotten things going to put herself back into the limelight again. That article not too long ago seems to show a renewed interest in her by the NZ media.
