Following a server upgrade by our website hosting company (Servage.net), the HWI website is temporarily 'broken'. This is because they no longer support the version of the programming language used to build the website and it needs to be upgraded, which may take me some time to do.
The website content is unaffected, it's just how it's displayed that needs fixing. I have added a link to the forum on the website "maintenance page" visitors will see.
If anyone wants to comment on this, please start a thread in the Technical Support board down near the bottom of the Home page, thanks!

HWI website update: It looks like I have fixed the broken website, there are just some updates to do now.
Unfortunately, the hosting company decided in its infinite lack of wisdom to move all their customers from servers in Germany to servers in Sweden and that is causing all their websites and email clients to be slow, and to have intermittent complete outages - that's in addition to breaking HWI a few days ago.
So if you see error messages like "This site cannot be reached" for example, that's the reason. It's also been slowing down my attempts to fix and upgrade.
The forum is hosted elsewhere and is completely unaffected.

Website is now fixed. I think!
There may still be occasional glitches though, due to the server transfer to Sweden.

Update. The website hosts are still struggling to fix their server problems so although the HWI website is fixed from my end, it will be unavailable from time to time until the hosting company learns a bit more about about 'vorsprung durch technik'. If my avatar doesn't display, the website is likely to be down again, and certain smileys won't display. Annoying doesn't even start to cover it. Apologies for any missing icons etc., for the next 6 hours or so, it's because the HWI website will be offline tonight (Europe time) due to some further server maintenance by our web hosting company.

Now fixed.
