Actually the Hayley Online folks found it first.  Here's how it appears on the FB post, so you can see the picture. I like the picture! I recognize the dress, but not sure it's from the first event I recall seeing her wear it at. The first time I remember seeing her wear it was in 2008 for that Itunes concert. But I don't think she had her hair back at that concert. She didn't really start doing that until 2009 or so. Actually, was this concert in New Zealand? Yes, now I'm thinking it was. Early 2010? I know there were tours in 2008 and 2011, but I'm almost certain there was just one early on in the year, and again, I think it was 2010. Ross, am I right? |

This article was flagged up a couple of days ago by Google Alerts but I didn't mention it as there's nothing new apart from that disappointing final sentence, which just made me feel sad. Made a change though from the usual Dracula related "Lucy Westenra" alerts I get!

This article was flagged up a couple of days ago by Google Alerts but I didn't mention it as there's nothing new apart from that disappointing final sentence, which just made me feel sad. Made a change though from the usual Dracula related "Lucy Westenra" alerts I get! Dave Hopefully they wrote that because she has, in truth, stepped away from the limelight if only temporarily (we hope). |

Dave Hopefully they wrote that because she has, in truth, stepped away from the limelight if only temporarily (we hope). I think she did step away, and it is temporary. She's said she's working on an album to the Taiwan media. Her makeup artist said she was most recently. She's shown us clues every so often. So, I think she is gradually making her way back, or maybe at least trying to. Remember the upload of all those album videos? Dave, you said that was a good sign. I say it's a good sign she was at a world premiere of a movie, even if she... stayed out of the limelight. The problem we're having now is that's been so long that we've begun to despair to the point where the forum is all but deserted. I still check her Sm every day, as well as the forum almost as often (used to be every day), but there are times now when I'm wondering why I still do it, is there any point, am I just wasting my time.  |

Yes Libby, I thought so, all those albums etc., but now I'm wondering if it was just something Universal are doing for all their artists. Oh well, hopefully *something* will happen, eventually. The risk is that by then, there may not be too many fans around to notice it!

THAT SAID: Hayley said she's working on a new album, and I believe her. It's just a matter of when and how long. But, I do think it would behoove her to get a move on. Take a look at the recent twitter posts I've seen the last week or so (as well as the other one), in the twitter thread. |
