Some Lucy Thomas news!
Two years ago today Lucy made her American TV debut when the Universal Kids cable channel aired her The Voice Kids UK’s 2018 blind audition. This month she met the 200,000 subscriber milestone on her YouTube channel, and her video “Hallelujah” reached four million views in just two and a half months. Her cover of the Leonard Cohen song is available as a single through Amazon, iTunes etc.
Yesterday she released her lated video “There You’ll Be”, the Faith Hill song written by Diane Warren and included in the 2001 movie “Pearl Harbor”.
A month ago she released a cover of the Coldplay hit “Fix You”.

Lucy’s newest video is a cover of Eva Cassidy’s “Over the Rainbow”, and is accompanied by James Frankland on guitar. This song is an update of an acoustic performance Lucy and James gave at MediaCityUK in 2018.

Hello again Paul!  Yesterday Lucy was at the Edwin Street Studio in Bury, recording more music with producer Phil Bulleyment. In a few days it will mark one year that her second album Encore was released digitally. |

Hi Joe,
I was looking through Lucy's videos on YouTube the other day and I see that she regularly interacts with her fans and replies to hundreds of comments on her videos. That is really nice of her and it lets her fans know that she is aware of them and what they think and what they would like or expect from her.
Her greatest talent is her voice and her ability to interpret another writers song,
many times a cover version of a song is more successful than the songwriters original recording (Josh Groban / Galileo).
that is enough to sell the albums, it helps that she looks good and records very well made videos.
I hope that she keeps it that simple and doesn't complicate by trying to be more.

Some Lucy Thomas news! On May 6th, Lucy’s YouTube channel recently celebrated its 250,000th subscriber! In only three weeks that number has jumped to 270,000. https://www.instagram.com/p/COix-PHpaYw Lucy published a new YouTube video…she sang “When You Believe” as a duet with her younger sister Martha. Today the song was available for purchase on iTunes and Amazon. And lastly, Lucy commented that her third studio album will be released in July! |
