This girl's voice deserves a thread on this forum. I was walking home from Tower records in Dublin on Friday with both of London Grammar's cds in a bag (I had been meaning to get them for quite a while) and I heard a girl singing on Grafton Street, this song that just gets in your head and won't leave, Wicked Game... Coincidence ? I'm not sure the girl singing was not Hannah Reid, looked quite like her.
This is an interview on New Zealand TV.

Hello Paul!
I must say I was very impressed with Hannah’s voice...very textured, low, and possibly contralto. A bit richer than Amy Winehouse’s voice. Wonderful bandmates as well!
Lots of YouTube videos but this one in particular was excellent. London Grammmar were in Seattle four years ago and did a four-song set at a radio station. You will enjoy this!

Thanks Joe, That video is not viewable here in Ireland, Somthing about "Content from PEDL"
but you can probably watch this one, Hannah is really stunning, first two minutes are acapela with just a little echo and reverb, that takes confidence. The songwriting is quite pleasant too.

Hello Paul! That was an incredible video! It is reminiscent of the video “Return to Innocence” by Enigma; that video depicts a man’s life from birth to death but in reverse.

I had noticed the similarity, the Enigma albums were played regularly in our house over the years. I really like Hannah's voice and tone, that is the shining light of London Grammar.

Live version of the New London Grammar album Californian Soil.
Lead Violin Kirsty Mangan, Kirsty of the Raven quartet was the violinist at Bangor County Down for Hayley Westenra 28th Feb. 2009.
The video is about 55 minutes long, so make yourself comfortable before you click on play.
If you enjoy it, do the decent thing and order the album online, mine is on the way..
