Hi everyone I've just come back from my mid week trip to the gym - and before you say anything, I really do go three times each week This is the only time that I ever occaisionally watch any daytime TV - it passes the time Anyway, I was flicking through the channels this morning and there on channel 5,sitting by the news presenter was Hayley & Vittorio They sang a liitle of their duet and talked alot about West Side Story. Hayley said that if it went to the West End as a full production, she would LOVE to play the part I'll see if I can find any links to the interview later. Hayley was wearing a short, very pale green dress and looked absolutely lovely as ever. I wanted to call out to the others in the gym to say " Hey, Hayley's on " I also wanted to say to the screen " Hi Hayley, I'm here, its me " Oh well, anyone who was watching me, certainly would have seen the big smile on my face i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest regards Mark

Hi Mark, So, let's see if I've got this right. You go to the gym to watch television? You must be worn out! Strange that Bedlam Management told me yesterday about the BBC Breakfast appearance but didn't mention this one. Oh well, next time I want to know what Hayley is doing, I'll go to the gym! Roger

Hello everyone!
There is another Channel 5 news broadcast at 3.35pm this afternoon. They may repeat the interview.
I shall watch, just in case.
Best wishes Grant

Hayley said that if it went to the West End as a full production, she would LOVE to play the part Very interesting. However, although I would love to see her performing in a musical, I think I'd rather prefer seeing her focusing on her solo career. Stephany

Thanks Mark, I'd imagine it was the same sort of interview as they did on BBC breakfast this morning? The last time Hayley was on the 11:30 Channel 5 News (for the Treasure release, I think) they didn't repeat it in any of the later News programmes that day so I suspect that the "showbiz" interviews are just done on the 11:30 show. I missed this one, anyway. Cheers, Dave

Hi Stephany. I have to agree her solo and recording career really should come first. I can understand the appeal of performing in a stage show with a group of other people, but I would imagine after 200 of the same performances it might all get a bit tedious. I do hope Hayley or one of her sound crew are recording her live concerts, It would be a tragedy if these wonderful concerts were not being recorded for reference later and Hayley could always sell the bootlegs herself at a later date. I wonder what kind of people might want to collect these recordings most of us on this forum might glimpse such people as we pass a mirror perhaps comet

Hi Stephany Thanks so much for finding and posting the link. I did look on the Channel 5 site several times last week but didn't spot it - perhaps they have only just added it. It was good to watch it again - without being out of breath Lots of love Mark

Hi Stephany, Very well done for locating the Channel 5 interview. It should certainly be seen by anyone who intends to buy the album, and by anyone who doesn't in the hope they will be persuaded! The clip is not likely to be available for long. Any chance you could grab it, Dave? Vittorio is completely nuts, I love him! I agree with the first part of that but, if you don't mind, we'll leave it at that! Roger

Thanks for the link Stephany. Regarding Hayley's comment on appearing in a West End production then I can only think it is a "wish" rather than a reality at present. The routine of appearing in eight shows a week in a demanding part such as Maria would need very careful consideration. What do you think?

Well done Stephany and thanks, I've downloaded it; I loved it when they started that impromptu performance of Tonight! And there is at least one more WSS interview to come. Gordon recorded another one yesterday morning (I forget which show) , which he's going to try to get to me. My goodness, it's going to be a busy week (there's more WSS stuff to do too)! Cheers, Dave

I finally fixed my WMP so I could see the video properly. It's great! Vittorio is so funny, and their impromptu performance of "Tonight" was splendid. <3 Caite
