Hi Karsten, Thanks for the information but I believe this is a repeat of the programme first broadcast in November 2005. We should have the video in the archives at HWI but, unfortunately, we still have many broken links and that particular video is not currently available. Thankfully, Gerrit included it in his site at RussellWatsonHayleyWestenra. If you scroll down that page to the seventh video in the left hand column, you can watch it now! We also have an existing thread for the programme HERE. Roger

Hi Roger, sorry, there was no hint on the BBC site that it will be a repeat. Many thanks for your advice regarding the existing information. Karsten

Hello everybody! The programme is shown as a repeat in today's newspapers, so I won't be watching. I know the result, but I won't spoil it for others! Best Wishes, Richard

Hi everyone! I wonder if we have BBC2 on TV here. If we do I might just watch it (if the TV isn't busy) for something to do even though I already know the outcome. I think it'd be quite fun to watch anyway. <3 Caite

Hi everyone I knew about Hayleys appearance on this programme but for some reason have never seen it and didnt know the outcome. I've just finished watching it and of course, Hayley lost - but only by one vote I must say I was quite worried for her when she was slicing the sweet potato I really enjoyed watching - I might mention it to her tomorrow night to see what memories she has of taking part Mark

Hi everyone, I also watched the programme and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had never really 'seen' Katherine Jenkins apart from photographs and video clips. She seemed really friendly and down-to-earth. I also loved what the girls were wearing Hayley should take part to another show like this one. Mark, you should definitely suggest the idea to her, haha i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifStephany

Hi Stephany and Mark I also watched this show again and whole heartedly agree with you about the potato slicer! I have one myself and it does have a holder to protect fingers. I think it was very irresponsible to let Hayley use it the way she did AND to allow it to be shown on TV!! I took a chance with mine on New Years Eve about five years ago and it wasn't a wise decision! I did tape the programme last time it was on but missed the first five minutes because I was actually watching 'Countdown' on Channel 4 (I NEVER watch cookery programmes! : . My friend Steve, who is a bit of a culinary artiste, rang me and I will always remember it. He just bellowed down the 'phone "Don't ask questions! Just turn on BBC2!!" then he hung up. 'course, I knew exactly what he meant and did as I was told Best wishes Grant P.S. I particularly like the bit where Hayley demonstrated her voice warm up exercises - priceless!
