I believe Linfair Records is owned by Universal. So perhaps Hayley still has a record contract after all! Martin D Maybe this means she's going to record a Taiwanese/Chinese album.... as well as her new "real" album. Don't be so pessimistic guys (I know, I have a lot of room to talk  ) |

After reading that, I now have even more questions LOL Very understably, but it actually answers a lot of questions that have been raised over the past couple years... the long hiatus, her silence, the empty/disguised/hidden ring hand... and none of those things are recent. Not to mention the lyrics of Greener Lands and WWEMH, and quite likely the new one, as well. It sure is a relief not to be hiding secrets anymore. |

I wonder who the friend is in LA? I think it might be Tom DeLuca. Of course, she was with her friend Natalie, but I'm not sure the "natural guitar" has anything to do with her. She doesn't strike me as a guitar player. I'm still strongly convinced she worked with Diane Warren, but Tom might be someone Diane referred her to; he definitely plays guitar. He doesn't seem to have social media, so you can't find out for sure till we see the concert program credits, I guess. I was also wondering if that was his dog she was "borrowing" at the beginning of her LA stay.
I also find it intriguing that she's singing Beauty and the Beast!
I'm still wondering what the significance of the Celtic Woman band member playing with her is. If he was invited by Hayley, or the people (of Taiwan) who plan her concerts there. Knowing that she's spent a lot of time in LA, and that Chloe, another former CW member, does as well, has me wondering if Hayley might pursue something similar. If Chloe could do it, so could Hayley!

I absolutely love that she sang Never Saw Blue, and how she seems to be revisiting her earlier work. Can't wait to hear recordings from the concerts!!!
I dont know how to explain it, but Hayley also seems to be more an peace, more relaxed than before. Does anyone else notice it?

I've suspected for a while that the lyrics to Greener Lands and WWEMH, especially Greener Lands, drew on direct personal experience. I'm glad she's happy now  |

As I suspected for a while, and as she has now confirmed, poor Hayley has been through a rough time in her life. I know how a marriage breakdown feels from personal experience. You have literally bet your life and lost. It is quite natural to want to hide from the world when that happens. It takes a while to understand that life still goes on. It seems that she has come out of it wiser and more mature, and with a new composure and strength. "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" as they say. I hope that this will be the start of Hayley coming out of her shell a bit more. Maybe we will get to see her again! Maybe the new album will appear, I notice she is talking about it again. I'm optimistic. Martin D |
