Thanks everyone. Glad everyone is enjoying watching them.
Libby--Can't remember the exact words. But visiting New York did come up. Hayley basically said she would like to come more, but she has been working on music.
Tony--I sent you a link to the photos through e-mail.

Thank you Katie! I love her dress, her sparkly headband, and of course, her lovely and spectacular voice. Do you mind if I share the links to these on the Celtic Woman Forum (with a link back here)? I know not everyone comes over here on a regular basis, but I'd love for fellow Hayley fans to enjoy them as much as I did. Here are the videos. Again these are rough--I had to keep my camera under my program when recording, meaning I couldn't always see what was going on. I also had to keep my camera in my lap at a weird angle, meaning the videos are taken at an almost straight up angle. Hoping someone may post something better on YouTube, but to my knowledge no one has yet. Greener Lands (with Tom DeLuca on guitar—he flew in from CA to perform with Hayley) - Unfortunately this one is out of focus as soon as they start singing. The audio isn't nearly as bad as the video. Silent Night (with Tim Evans on piano) - One of the better videos I got. Bridge Over Troubled Water (with Tim Evans on piano)-Again one of the better ones. Solid Ground (duet with Dallyn Vail Bayles, song was written by Tim Janis) - Really bad angle. Hayley and Dallyn are barely in the frame. O Holy Night (with Kara DioGuardi, Melora Hardin, Alex Boye, Dallyn Vail Bayles) These are only viewable through the links. I don't plan on publishing them publicly on YouTube, but if I hadn't been able to make the concert I know I would have preferred these videos over nothing so making them available here. Katie

Katie Thanks for the videos Katie, the thought of the "nothing" is awful. To see the videos keeps us connected to Hayley at least in some way, Whoever said "Absence makes the heart grow fonder" was full of romantic nonsense. Absence makes the heart forget and move on. You really did take a chance for us and I thank you, for the long distance journey and the videos, they really are a gift to those of us who could not be there. There was quite a lot of light shining down on your position as can be seen by the light on the black fabric on the stage edge. So well done under difficult circumstances. As Martin said we have all taken worse videos when shooting from the hip without a viewfinder or from under a programme or from inside a rolled up beannie or scarf. Sometimes all that is useable is the audio and even then that is better than nothing. The times there was nothing made for a very short concert threads, The Isle of Man and the cruise ship spring to mind.

Comet--No there wasn't a group photo. There wasn't time--Hayley's car came as she was finishing up with the last person so she had to leave. Katie

Thanks everyone for your photos and reviews, and of course Katie for your priceless videos, well done for braving the camera police! Sounds like it was a really good performance by Hayley and well worth going to see and hear her at the concert, even more so with Hayley back to her old-style Stage Door meetings of old that we all know and love! Good to see you back again Caitlin, look forward to reading your review when you can do it! Cheers, Dave

I'm interested to know what the other singers were like. If any of you who went could briefly describe the other singers' performances, that would be nice. There are no other videos to be found anywhere, which isn't much surprise. I'm curious as to why Matthew Morrison isn't in the final group. It's almost like he wasn't even there. Well, I guess Sierra Boggess isn't, either.
I was slightly intrigued by Alex Boye, with the white paint on his face. I did a search, and was reminded that he was on America's Got Talent! I do remember him now. I only found the first audition videos, so I don't remember how far he made it. I do know that he and his band sang pop songs and was really upbeat and fun with them. I watched a couple of his videos. Now, I'm tired of Adele's Hello, and I apologize if you are, too, but I did enjoy his version (minus the Star Wars sound effects; don't ask me what Star Wars had to do with it. LOL Also enjoyed his Circle of Life.

Here are the videos... if I hadn't been able to make the concert I know I would have preferred these videos over nothing so making them available here. Katie Thank you for posting those! Wow, her voice in the chorus of Greener Lands so reminds me of her Treasure days! Gorgeous! It's hard to get a handle on the dress. Is it... brown? orange?

It's hard to get a handle on the dress. Is it... brown? orange? I've tried white balancing some of the photos (if they had white objects in the scene) and I'd say that Rory's photo on Twitter is the closest to its actual colour but of course, it probably needs someone who was there to describe it due to variations in computer screens. And because I'm no good at describing colours! Cheers, Dave

I would describe the color of her dress has burnt orange. The color in Rory's photo is fairly accurate. Libby— To answer your question here is the entire program: One Voice - Alex Boye and Devlin Stark Angels We Have Heard on High - Dallyn Vail Bayles I Wonder as I Wander - DeMarre McGill (flute) Greener Lands - Hayley Westenra Silent Night - Hayley Westenra Bridge Over Troubled Water - Hayley Westenra Happy Xmas (War is Over) - The Broadway Youth Ensemble We All Bleed the Same - Alex Boye Come Home With Me for Christmas - Melora Hardin The Christmas Song/ Chestnuts Roasting on a Open Fire - Melora Hardin On the Street Where you Live - Matthew Morrison It’s All Right With Me - Matthew Morrison I’ll Be Home for Christmas/ Mele Kalikimaka - Matthew Morrison Christmas in the Sand - Kara DioGuardi Part of Your World - Sierra Boggess Love Never Dies - Sierra Boggess Bring Him Home - Dallyn Vail Bayles Wind Song - Tim Janis (piano) Rushing Wings of Dawn - Tim Janis (piano) Coventry Carol - Melora Hardin Ave Maria - The American Christmas Carol Choir Solid Ground - Hayley Westenra, Dallyn Vail Bayles Little Drummer Boy (African Tribal Version) - Alex Boye, Kara DioGuardi Baba Yetu (The Lord’s Prayer in Swahili) - Alex Boye O Holy Night - Hayley Westenra, Melora Hardin, Dallyn Vail Bayles The show did seem less cohesive then the one 4 years ago. By no means am I saying this wasn’t a great show (because it was), but the singers in the show 4 years ago had seemed to develop more rapport with each other. This didn’t seem as evident this time around. I think the less rapport is being driven by less time rehearsing with each other and less similar styles. Specifically, for Hayley she was meant to arrive into New York City On Monday. But due to visa issues wasn’t able to arrive until Wednesday. I can’t speak for the other singers, but at least for Hayley she had much less time in New York then planned. And as for less similar singers, a pretty high bar was set 4 years ago. Really I am probably crossing hairs with that point. Beating having Sarah McLachlan, Loreena McKennitt, Andrea Corr, and Hayley Westenra on the same stage would be pretty tough. For the main singers, with the exception of Hayley and Alex, most of the singers seemed to have some kind of background in musical theater. This was reflected in their singing style. This was probably a negative to some as a positive to others. I personally prefer classical crossover over musical theater so could have done with more of that style, but still enjoyed all of the singers nevertheless. Specially with Matthew Morrison he definitely had an over the top, very fun style. He really raised the energy level when he came on. He was very good; but again for me not a style I would personally seek out. But, nevertheless, I still enjoyed watching his part of the show. Edit: Just saw comet's post. The dress was less of a bright orange than that. I think closer to this burnt orange. Not a perfect match, but a bit closer. Relooking at my photos I think the color is this one is pretty accurate.

Hello again, guys. I was away for the weekend so I haven't had a chance to get behind a computer. At this point I don't think there's much I can add to my experience for you all given the videos, but I can provide a few things. I did manage to get a front row seat - I could nearly reach out and touch the stage! Superb way to witness everything. Also beyond all the obvious things, I loved how "human" Hayley was on stage. She was very charming and gave off a relatable innocence, speaking to the audience in a spontaneous manner and mentioning little things like how she was standing on a cable at one point.
The dress was indeed a shade of orange IMO, although I'm a tiny bit colorblind lol.
Unfortunately I did not get a chance to meet Hayley; I don't have much concert experience and I didn't realize it was acceptable or even possible to wait by a stage exit for the performers after a show. Definitely something I'm kicking myself for but the chance of more NYC shows gives me a glimmer of hope.
Last but not least, I managed to record audio of the entire show on my phone (iPhone 6, not terrible quality.) If I'm allowed to, I'd be happy to send the recording to anyone, just let me know and I'll message you.
-Rory

Thanks for the thorough report and setlist. I've gotten so used to the thorough reports by members like Grant, that the lack of details was a bit disconcerting for me. Not knowing anything about the concert other than 4 videos was bothering me. I like details. LOL I also listened to Alex's Baba Yetu on youtube. I was most interested in him (other than Hayley) because of his uniqueness and the fact he was on AGT. Like you, I'm not really into theatre style much, either. I wasn't aware that Kara DioGuardi was in theatre. All I know of her is that she was a judge on American Idol for a couple years, and that she has written songs for other artists. The Christmas in the Sand title totally sounds like something along the lines of her writing style (a little corny-sounding). Her most memorable moments on AI were her and Paula Abdul screeching at Simon and Randy about something, and then another time, her showing a contestant how to better to sing a certain song. She was never my favorite judge on the show (wait, I don't think I ever HAD a favorite! LOL), but there were some entertaining moments with her on the show, though. For some reason when Hayley wore that dress in Dublin, I had imagined it was actually red, and the lighting was just making it look orangeish. Oh well. Since she's almost 30, I have to wonder, is she trying to achieve a youthful look? Because she definitely looks young with her blonde hair, hair band, and Sunday-school style outfit there. No offense to Hayley, just an observation.
