Looking forward to a more detailed report. The phone shot makes it look as if you were very close to the stage, that's the way to see Hayley in concert.

I ended up going to this as well. Involved taking a red eye train back to Boston Thursday night and then working Friday morning, but was worth it. Here is the entire list of songs that Hayley was part of: Greener Lands (with Tom DeLuca on guitar—he flew in from CA to perform with Hayley) Silent Night (with Tim Evans on piano) Bridge Over Troubled Water (with Tim Evans on piano) Solid Ground (duet with Dallyn Vail Bayles, song was written by Tim Janis) O Holy Night (with Kara DioGuardi, Melora Hardin, Alex Boye, Dallyn Vail Bayles) As Rory already stated Hayley was amazing—not much to add there. They were enforcing no photos/ videos, which made it hard to get pictures. A couple I took are below. I did manage to get some videos; however, due to the angle I was at and the no video enforcement they are very rough. I don’t plan on posting them on YouTube, but will probably post direct links to them here once they are uploaded.

Oh, no! I'm just hearing about this, after it's over. I really want to see Josh Groban's Broadway show, but money is tight, so I keep talking myself out of it. I so wish I'd known about this, as I could've made a trip to see both and forgiven myself a lot easier for spending the money! I didn't see Hayley when she performed in Madison and have regretted it ever since, although money was even tighter back then, and I know I made the only decision I could without skipping out on paying my bills. I'm still holding hope that she'll one day have a full-length concert to herself somewhere in the US. I did see her in 2007 with Celtic Woman, but not quite the same. Full orchestra backing would be ideal, but I'll take what I can get! Christmas music or otherwise; she could sing the dictionary, and I'd enjoy it just as well!

Here are the videos. Again these are rough--I had to keep my camera under my program when recording, meaning I couldn't always see what was going on. I also had to keep my camera in my lap at a weird angle, meaning the videos are taken at an almost straight up angle. Hoping someone may post something better on YouTube, but to my knowledge no one has yet.
Greener Lands (with Tom DeLuca on guitar—he flew in from CA to perform with Hayley) - Unfortunately this one is out of focus as soon as they start singing. The audio isn't nearly as bad as the video.
Silent Night (with Tim Evans on piano) - One of the better videos I got.
Bridge Over Troubled Water (with Tim Evans on piano)-Again one of the better ones.
Solid Ground (duet with Dallyn Vail Bayles, song was written by Tim Janis) - Really bad angle. Hayley and Dallyn are barely in the frame.
O Holy Night (with Kara DioGuardi, Melora Hardin, Alex Boye, Dallyn Vail Bayles)
These are only viewable through the links. I don't plan on publishing them publicly on YouTube, but if I hadn't been able to make the concert I know I would have preferred these videos over nothing so making them available here.

Thanks for the videos! They weren't bad at all, they were pretty good, actually. Anything's better than nothing! I'm very intrigued to know that Tom De Luca came to play with her in concert. I wonder if that will happen more in the future? Here's another interesting tidbit I found in an exchange with Rory and the guy pictured with Hayley in the instagram photo:

Wow the videos are superb! Brilliant audio quality! Thank you so much for all the recordings!
In O Holy Night though....clearly everyone had solos...couldn't they afford individual mics for everyone or what? Looked so unprofessional....Poor Hayley had awkward moments of switching the mic to herself and back to a common point, she didn't have to do all that, and deserved a hand mic during the performance. She always prefers to have the mic in her hand. Even last time's performance at the Carnegie hall when everyone sang with a stand mic, Hayley timely removed her mic from the stand for her solo. She's most comfortable that way, and that should've been taken care of by providing her own mic.

Thanks for the videos Katie. Don't worry about the quality, I've seen much worse, and have taken much worse myself. Still worth publishing if they are the only ones available of a unique performance. I know all about the difficulties of getting videos and photos in a hostile environment. That was a pretty good effort considering. Those of us who couldn't be there are very happy to see them.
