I was searching Google images for something, and came up with an old photo I didn't remember seeing. It led me to this great article on Hayley's first visit to Canada to promote Pure. The entire thing is very nice and complimentary about Hayley, but one part in particular stood out, because every bit of it rings true today... yes, literally, ESPECIALLY, today!

While her vocal talent easily puts her in a class above many others, what I loved most about Westenra was the fact that she was not afraid to be herself. Her modesty is honourable, even after everything she has achieved. She defines herself and her music, and is not held back by trying to create an image that is false or copied.
