Hi Everyone again.
I've just dropped in for a quick moment. I hesitate to say I have problems when I know one or two of us have many themselves and some of us far worse than mine but I am currently inundated on diverse fronts.
My prompting for 'dropping in' was receiving literally this moment from a relative the two relevant pages of the Daily Mail article. I just had to share immediately but found, as one might expect here, as I am a week late, that not only had it already been posted but had run into three pages of discussion.
I was very impressed by what to me is Hayley in the mode some of us, who have met her several times and with whom one senses she does relax, was just talking to the press as she chats to us. The article was that simple, straight forward and so open.
I think this opening up as to who she is is part of that maturing process which stems from her growing confidence in herself.
Someone at Llangollen said to me, 'Superb as she is, she still has a lot of growing up to do'. I did not quote it at the time but now it seems apt to say so for she clearly recognises that in herself. The phrasing 'odd but not dysfunctional' sums up her life's dillema superbly well. The most important aspect is her own recognition of where she is 'out of kimber' with her peers. She expresses it as if she has made a mental note--'Something to check up on when I have a moment'. In other words, she will deal with it when she is ready, for now she has merely noted it on her 'To Do' list.
As others have commented in various ways, there is nothing new to us in this. What is new is her opening up to the wider world and confirmation of what we had perceived for her, where we had not necesarilly known as fact specifically.
I think this is without doubt the best report on her that has ever been given and I think it indicates the opening of a new channel of communication in readiness for the launch of In Her Owen Voice.
Well, Hayley, if you are about to move in to somewhere permanent, you know you have a ready band of box-shifters, all for free! Well, perhaps a cup of coffee from your new kettle and a toasted muffin!
Peter S. (Sorry, disappearing again for awhile yet).

Ugh! I hate this article! It seems to be offending her in the most discrete ways. I love the content, just not his opinion.
