Hello everyone, I nearly forgot to mention this. When Mark Forrest in the Chart Show failed to play anything from Treasure on Saturday he did console us with a little something. He announced that he would be interviewing Hayley this coming Friday on the Classic FM Magazine show (11pm). I don't know if this will be available for download later as the show's homepage currently mentions Nicola Benedetti (part 2) so I'll record it just in case. Hayley will be talking about... wait for it... West Side Story! Oh, I think he said Vittorio Grigolo will be on the show with Hayley so it will be interesting to hear him too. Cheers, Dave

This is great news, thanks for the information Dave. As you say, it will be very interesting to hear Vittorio's opinion on this project.

I just noticed that it was on at 11 pm. That's pretty late. Is this pre-recorded? Thanks again for the alert, Dave!

Hello Stephany! I'm fairly certain most of the late night interviews are pre-recorded. Incidentally, I heard the other day that the Classic FM studios are in the same building as Capital Radio, in Leicester Square. Both stations are owned by the same company, GCap Media plc. Best Wishes, Richard

Hi Richard, Thanks for the reply. I just remember Hayley saying that she wasn't a 'morning person'. And, still, she has to go to BBC Breakfast and this one is NOT pre-recorded ! Just when there is one interview later, it is pre-recorded, haha. Anyway, I missed this one but I am certain that Dave will be here at our rescue! Stephany

Hello Stephany! I'm hoping Dave has recorded it too. I started listening too early, so I fell asleep and missed it all! Best Wishes, Richard :zz

Hi Richard and Stephany,
I did record that hour but on flicking through it I heard no Hayley.... though I haven't had time to check it in detail yet (I'm off to Woburn soon). They did say in this morning's Classic FM Chart show though that Hayley and Vittorio would be on tomorrow's Guest List (9pm I think but no time to check or start a thread on it) so maybe they've moved the interview to then.
We shall see.
Cheers, Dave

Thanks for that, Dave! I thought it was strange that Hayley and Vittorio would be interviewed twice in three days! Don't worry about starting a thread for the Guest List. I was listening when Simon Bates mentioned it yesterday morning, so I checked Classic FM's website and started a new thread HERE. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI hope the weather stays dry for you and everybody at Woburn Abbey this evening. Best Wishes, Richard

Hello everyone, This interview was broadcast on tonight's show and i got home from the supermarket in the nick of time to record it! However, this interview is supposed to be going onto the Classic FM website tonight and the presenter Mark Forrest said it is a longer version of the interview so I will not post my recording tonight, let's wait for Classic FM and I'll use their (longer) podcast! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifTheirs should be up already and indeed it is... but it covers the first half hour of the show. Hayley's and Vittorio's interview is in the second half! If they haven't sorted it out soon, I'll post what I recorded. There is some hot news from it though. The presenter asked them if they would put on an actual West Side Story stage show and the answer was essentially: "Yes, if the album sells enough". Oh my goodness!!! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifIt's not confirmed yet by any means but what they said was clear and it was interesting to hear their thinking. Hayley said "by public demand" and they will, it seems, assess public demand by the album sales. Edit: Classic FM still haven't got the right podcast segment up, so here's the interview as broadcast except for "Tonight" which they played in full and I needed to cut to a 40 second clip (sorry!). Cheers, Dave PS I've now changed the thread title to the new date.

Hi Dave,
I enjoyed this interview...Hayley did drop a hint about performing a stage show w/ Vittorio...if the public demand it!
Liked Vittorio's explanation of the beats and grooves!
I'm sure Classic FM will have the full interview up within a day or so.
Thanks again Dave !

There is some hot news from it though. The presenter asked them if they would put on an actual West Side Story stage show and the answer was essentially: "Yes, if the album sells enough". Are they serious?? Everyone, go and buy many copies and promote the CD around you, we never know!! Thanks for the info, Dave! Indeed i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifStephany

Well done Dave! I heard the interview last night, and it was most enjoyable. Hayley was certainly very enthusiastic about performing in a stage production of 'West Side Story', so everybody please buy the album and make it happen! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifMarianne, you'll have to buy two copies. One for Hayley and one for Vittorio! Best Wishes, Richard
