Can't wait to hear all about this concert! I love the song "Close to You" ...a hit from The Carpenters.

It is interesting looking at the set list. Pure was the album that was represented the most tonight with 5 songs. I did a quick breakdown of the songs for albums: Pure: 5 Odyssey: 2 Treasure: 1 Paradiso: 0 Japanese CD: 1 Covers (not on major albums): 4 New Songs (not written by Hayley): 2 New Hayley Tunes: 2 It looks from the covers and songs chosen that the songs in the upcoming album will be more folk and a few orchestra pieces in between to round out the album. If this is anything to base the future on anyway.

As the concert is happening at this very moment, I hope everyone there is having a splendid time! Ahhh! And here's the full set list! -Taylor So, I see the new songs are Who Will Echo My Heart (as expected), and Greener Lands. Very Irish-sounding! Ooh, and I'm thrilled to see Beat of Your Heart. This choice has to be due to the recent passing of Sir George Martin. Exciting to see the others, too. I love Close to You and Songbird. Oh, and I see that Ronan Hardiman, who worked on several of Hayley's albums before, co-wrote or composed Echo (we can call it that for short). There's also a new person named Steven Baker who arranged them, as well as the John Lennon/Paul McCartney song, and Black is the Colour. Oh, and ATUOT, which means that's a new arr. The Bobbie Field person (who might be female, going by the spelling) did some arranging there, too. I can tell who the new people are due to my fairly recent studies of Hayley's old albums... and, they're all old, aren't they? I wonder if Hayley is bringing back the Celtic again? That would be great, I've really missed that side of her music. That's probably the best way to lure her US fans to concerts in the future. After all, from what I can tell, all of those songs except for the Overture in the middle, and the song from La Traviata, all of them are what Hayley probably sang.

Where have we seen Who Will Echo My Heart before? I know I've seen it in conjunction with Hayley prior to this concert. Was it at her last concert where she sang a new song or two?

Brilliant set list as always! I am happy to see Across the Universe of time on there, I was listening to this one recently and thinking its is one of my favourites and I don't think it has been done in concert recently. I also love Songbird. Two new ones by Hayley there too.
