Hotels everywhere are more expensive on the weekends, but I know that that wouldn't stop me from going. I might cringe a bit at the price, but it would be worth it to me.

Thanks for the NCH brochure, Tiger. I'll post it on our Facebook page. Richard

Oh good, it will be nice to meet you there Libby! And yes, the hotel prices are a bit steep, and they were pretty much booked up even when the concert was first announced. Martin D

Martin D Uhh, maybe someday, Martin. LOL If you recall, Seattle to Madison was enough of a challenge. Needless to say Seattle to Dublin would be even more so. I'd love to go there someday, but it probably won't be for a while.

Hayley has pinned her post about the Dublin concert to the top of her Facebook page: Hopefully this will help matters a bit.

Yes, I did the same on our Facebook page about a week ago. There are still plenty of seats available, only five weeks before the concert. Richard

I think I'm going to pin the tweet about it on Hayleys forum too. Every little bit helps, I hope!

Mildly interesting tweet about the concert: I see the word Lieder means song in German.

With just 21 days to go, ticket sales are still lagging behind expectations. I would again estimate barely 40% are sold. The HWI contingent will just have to make more noise then usual. Come on Paul, get out in the streets with your sandwich board! Martin

Martin It doesn't help when you try to log onto the NCH site and you get a blank screen with a message "This site can't provide a secure connection !" Wonder how many people have been put off buying tickets because of that !?

The concert was advertised in The Irish Times newspaper today. The same picture as the flyer. Hopefully it will increase sales. I have had no trouble with the nch link. Looking forward to the concert now!
