Great performance - Hayley certainly hasn't lost anything during her "break". Martin D Of course not. She sounds every bit as good as she did last year. Despite the sound quality, I can still easily detect this.

There are lots of photos from a few different sources. But rather than post them all here, go to the official forum to see them all. I don't feel like posting them all, all over again. We could use a few more visitors these days, anyway. hayleywestenra.forums.umusic.co.uk/t/2251.aspx

Here's an even better video where Hayley talks about her concert before singing "Over The Rainbow" and "I Knew I Loved You". Richard

I could understand about one word in five of that. Horrible echo and distracting background music that was close to drowning her out. I think it was as bad as that Scottish guy I posted a video of the other day. Must be even worse if English isn't your first language, as I suspect was the case with most of the audience. Can somebody translate?

Really? I thought it was fairly decent the audio, anyway here you go, could have missed out a word or two. But then I think we have some wonderful news! I'm so excited!!!
"It's so wonderful to be back here in Taiwan, in Taipei I'd like to thank Mini for supporting this concert that I'm doing on Friday and ofcourse Mr. Yuma(?) It's just so great to be back and I'm gonna be at the National concert hall on Friday, which was a, a beautiful venue, that I've sung in before with the incredible National Symphony Orchestra, I have my musical director Timothy Evans with me, I also have my drummer, Steve Harvie so they're all really excited rehearsing with the orchestra tomorrow. In the concert I'm singing songs from the album I made with Ennio Morricone, some classics, also a brand new song that's getting its Premiere performance, so that's really exciting. I've been spending most of this year songwriting, so I can't wait to share this new one for the first time and here in Taiwan."

I found the sound quality itself just fine, and I could understand just about everything. But, as Martin says, the music was extremely distracting. I'm sorry, but how completely stupid to play singing while we're trying to hear her talking! It would be different if it had been very faint, but it wasn't faint at all. Once there was that radio interview from Thailand where you could hear WPTMB playing throughout the entire video, and that wasn't half as distracting as this was! but it wasn't the least bit faint at all.

Thanks Simba. I thought Hayley was speaking quite quickly too. Once upon a time she used to speak slowly when her audience might have limited English.
