That was beautiful, I liked his now we are free too. But it's a shame that Andrea Bocelli collaborated with so many people for his album, many pop singers at that, and not Hayley, atleast one song.

That was beautiful, I liked his now we are free too. A Morricone based song. Ariana - impressive range - for a 'pop' singer. Been there, done that - Dell'Amore Non Si Sa. Great artists endure ... and, sadly, Hayley, piu mi manchi ....

But, Hayley has never been featured on one of Andrea's albums.

Paddy, I know about Dell'Amore Non Si Sa....I wasn't even talking about just any song, I was talking about this particular album or any of his albums for that matter.
And Ariana, is okay, impressive range for a 'pop' singer? Not so much if you put her among the likes of Abba, Whitney Houston or Celine Dion even. Nicole Scherzinger is however a great singer, who's also featured in the album....
And the song, yes It's based on Deborah's theme, same as "I knew I loved you" that Hayley sung on Paradiso. Definitely a better collaboration it would have been than Ariana.

But, sadly, Hayley seems to have moved on from such highlights ("Been there, done that.") ... to where we do not know. Ariana sells very well nonetheless. 'Greatness' may be in the perceptions of the beholders (purchasers), perhaps. for the one whose profile most needs a boost ... On Malena too, I read.

LOL Paddy, the only song I know by Ariana is not great by any means. Kind of catchy, but there's nothing impressive or original about her voice, and definitely not the lyrics. The title alone is obviously purposely meant to be misconstrued to mean something inappropriate, even if the lyrics themselves don't say it. And while the lyrics themselves (well, the few that I know) sound innocent enough, they're rather dull. If you ask me, it's all just to attract men, because she really isn't that talented. While her duet above is lovely, it wasn't amazing. Also, her juvenile hair style and skimpy teenager outfit, singing with a gray-haired Bocelli, gave me the impression of a father and daughter. Which isn't a bad thing, but still, I imagine that's a love song?
I'll take Hayley (Malena and IKILY) and Josh Groban (You're Still You to the tune of Malena) any day.

Wait, this sounds like Josh Groban's You're Still You (one of his best songs IMO). Is You're Still You a Morricone melody? EDIT: Nevermind, I just saw Libby's post

LOL Yeah, that's probably it. Oh, and I had no idea about the tune of YSY by Josh until Paradiso came along. Not until my first listen of Paradiso, and at first I was like, where have I heard that tune before. It didn't take long for me to figure it out, though.
