I found the video on Facebook, posted by Yoo-Han Yeong from Hayley's Korean fansite. Note the lyrics of 'Quanta Qualia' were written by Patrick's brother, Andrew Hawes, so they could be the 21st century's answer to George and Ira Gershwin! Richard

Well, the music of Quanta Qualia, at least, is definitely more heavenly than Gershwin's music, which for some reason I find a bit depressing. That, and Debussy. Claire de Lune I find extremely depressing. It's a lovely tune, but it just sounds way too sad and slow. Some songs are sad, yet so beautiful that it makes you feel wonderful. This just makes me feel sad and gloomy. LOL I had a look at the Odyssey booklet. Patrick Hawes is not only credited for the arrangement of the song, but also as the score editor. And... wait for it... he conducted the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for the song, as well!! Also, it says he and James Brett (who is credited numerous times throughout the album) both conducted the Conventus Choir for this track! Now, on the other hand, the Stephan Moccio song, What You Never Know, is not arranged or conducted by Stephan at all on Hayley's album. He is simply listed as the writer/composer of the song. I'm sure she had to get permission for the additional lyrics, but there is nothing to indicate that she actually worked with Stephan. So contrary to the belief of some, it seems that Stephan had nothing really to do with Hayley's version of the song at all. If she ever worked with him prior to the Mario concert in 2012, I can't imagine what that would be.

Note however that Hayley's recording on YouTube has been withdrawn. Martin What do you mean? I just listened to a recoring this morning... I used the YouTube search engine to find the video putting in "Quanta Qualia Hayley Westenra" as the search key. I tried again this morning and, still, the video states "unavailable". Where can I find it? Martin

It's the provider or person publishing the video on YouTube. Look under their videos and click the one for the UK version of Odyssey. That should work. At least in the USA it does for the USA version. Alicia

Katie Breathwick played Hayley's recording of "Quanta Qualia" for her Dawn Chorus on Classic FM yesterday morning. Richard

Yes, it's "BREATH - wick". Dionne Warwick pronounces her name "WAR - wick", while the town in England is pronounced "WOR - ick" (like "DOR - ic". Richard

Yes, there are lots of them. Chiswick (chizzick), Hayley's neck of the woods, is another. Apparently it originally was "cheesewick" or cheese farm (according to Wickipedia),
And Flitwick (pronounced flittick) But not Hackney Wick, that's pronounced as it's spelt.
"Wick it seems can either be drrived from Anglo Saxon for "farm" or Norse "Vic" (Viking) for a sea inlet.
