I found a couple from Cork, taken by Joyce. They might not be ideal either. The lighting, for one, also, maybe a bit squinty, since she's showing emotion. But just to get some more photos in the mix for possible consideration. Obviously some major editing will be needed, but I'm sure that's nothing Dave can't deal with. I think I like the 1st one better. The colors look more clear, even if her face looks tanner than usual.

Okay, this one's facing the wrong way, but you have to admit, it's gorgeous. From Classic FM live, last April:

Okay, hold onto your hats. I think I may have just found a winner. Taken by none other than my all-time favorite HWI photographer, Karsten! She's facing the right way, she's smiling her beautiful smile. It cuts off very close to the edge of her hair, but I think it would still work with some very careful editing. This is the signing from last March's RTE concert in Ireland: Oh, and don't take this one (taken by Grant) seriously, but I got a kick out of the idea, and had to post it anyway. She's definitely looking the right way with her eyes, but this might look a bit creepy. LOL That's why I had to post it, but don't count it as a real choice, just the one above.

Thanks Libby! (I think) I'm not sure I agree that a new pic has to be similar to, or in a similar position as, the existing one. There are some wonderful pictures of Hayley about. I'll throw this one into the mix.
Also taken at Dublin last year. Cheers Grant

Nice photo Grant. It looks likely that we will end up with a Dublin photo, after all I think that was the last decent photo opportunity we had, since we didn't take photos at Cork, and I haven't seen any suitable close-ups from Madison. Here's a couple of mine Martin D

Actually, Martin, the ones by Joyce I posted are from Cork. Your photos are nice, too, but the first one you posted I'm not so sure about. A smile or a slightly serious look off into the distance would be more preferrable. Grant, I'm under the impression she has to be "looking out" on Christchurch. I suppose she doesn't have to. If she's looking forward, though, then she won't be "looking out" on Chch anymore, but it would still look nice. You know, if we chose one of her looking the other way, her pic could go on the other side? But I don't know about that. And Comet won't stand for rotated photos. And Grant, the reason I said not to count your other photo is, not because it's not a good photo (I think it's great when you guys capture moments like that), but I don't think it would go over well as a forum header photo, that's all. LOL I mean, we can count it, but I don't think many would vote for it; and even if we did, I doubt our "judges" would go for it. LOL

Hi All Hayley doesn't have to be looking over Christchurch, as at present, but since we are not changing the rest of the picture it does need to fit into the perspective. There have been some great ideas already so it is going to be a difficult choice. I feel a poll looming! Martin

Well, personally I love Hayley's more unusual expressions, but like you Libby I'm not sure they are appropriate for this purpose. A couple more OK three! Martin D

Hi All Thank you to those that have submitted photos for a new forum header. I would request now that no more are submitted and over the next few days I will set up a poll. There are nine submissions in total and I will check with the management team whether or not we can include all nine in the poll or that we should reduce the number to a short list of, say, five.

Hi all, Only a suggestion but a new album might also come with a new image change and hence a wait and see policy might be the best option.
Regard`s, Stephen.

True. But that could be months. Also, we then run the risk of too closely resembling her official page theme, including the official forum, once they get around to changing it. Unless we make sure not to use the exact photos they do, but sometimes there are only 1 or 2 photos available in the run-up to the album.
Besides, I'm not aware that this forum uses her album themes for forum designs. I think the one before the current one was from a concert photo.

I'm not sure if I have actually placed a vote.
I went to the "Poll Thread"
I selected two photos.
But I can't see any OK or cast vote button,
I see others have managed to vote.
