Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! It was nice to meet you all at the concert. I finally got around to cutting and uploading my video from the concert. The video isn't that good but the audio is what we care about here, right? ;P Here's an unlisted playlist: www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLOnTQFHxHpbqKUqyUc1fHGdvDpd06Itn8Nhat Was this from the 18th or 19th? Just curious. Wow ! to any of our members who have not yet watched these, Give yourself a Christmas present, Take an hour to yourself, connect up a good sound system and give this whole concert a listen. The piano is rich and deep, great to see Tim in shot as he is so often left out, Hayley's vocals are clean and clear and the orchestra sounds great, well done to the sound people at the theatre, the sound must have been excellent for the audience or our new Tourist could not have captured such good sound.. well done everyone involved.. brilliant ! I'd forgotten how beautiful the Morricone songs were, delicious..with a nice 2012 Bordeaux

a time to keep silence, and a time to speak One of my favorite quotes: "Better to remain silent and thought to be a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt." ~Abraham Lincoln~ Somehow I have difficulty living by that. Bill (Not meant to be a comment on Comet's teasing of Libby. See what I mean.)

lovely reports, love the eye doctor story, Libby, your Hayley event is not over yet, that's all I'm sayin' I thought that was a great story, too. Any idea what song he heard played in church? Amazing Grace? Prayer? Abide With Me? Majesty, even? Okay, comet, that last statement has me going crazy, because it sounds like you know something I don't, but then maybe you're just being optimistic. Oh well, her tour can't be any earlier than 2016 if her album might just barely be out a year from now! Libby, I don't know what song it was. I'll try to find out at my next eye appointment but it will probably be a while. Bill

In answer to my own question, the videos have to be the 19th, since his videos don't include White Christmas. Alicia said she didn't sing that on the 2nd night. a time to keep silence, and a time to speak You don't have to speak, just type.

Sounds like a wonderful opportunity you all got, especially Libby. I would have loved to go to her concert, but, for one thing, I didn't hear about it until afterward, and for another, I wouldn't have been able to get off of work for it anyway. (All my days off are being used for the purpose of helping with a group music recording in Texas in a couple of weeks. ) And the additional point of leaving the following day for Bamafan's neck of the woods. Perchance it'll work out during her next tour, Lord willing.

I saw your post in between my Christmas activities, but thought someone else would post. I remember talking to Nhat about the videos on Friday after the concert. Sir Tarin, I hope you can make to one of the shows on the tour. Hayley's concert in Madison was the best concert I've attended besides Celine's shows. But Celine's shows are full productions; Hayley had none of that, just her and an orchestra. Bill, we need to start getting quotes on buses! lol Cause I would be in! Let's start taking up collections! I'm just kidding, ok!! Alicia

Ok. I got my sister showed me how to transfer my photos from my camera to my laptop and Facebook. But I don't know how to upload here. This is my first time to do so on here. How do you do that if your pictures are on your laptop and Facebook? I'm very tech stupid when it comes to things like this. Anyways, thank you in advance for the help. Alicia

Hello Alicia! If you've uploaded your photographs to Facebook you can post them on the forum quite easily. Just select each photo at Facebook, make sure you're looking at the full-size version, right click on the image to view the properties or image info and copy the URL. Then click on the picture frame icon in the forum and paste the URL in the pop-up box. Don't worry if the images are large because the forum's dynamic resizing feature will automatically scale them down to fit the width of the screen. Here's an example from our Facebook page: Yes, that's from one of the concerts in Cork. Best wishes, Richard

by looking at the clothing one might assume it was the soundcheck or rehearsal.

Alicia Don't be so hard on yourself Alicia, being on Hayley's forums dragged me kicking, screaming and cursing into the internet age, I mean computer smacking frustration an not being able to do things. Get a little notebook and write some clear instructions for yourself, and be ready to make passwords and screennames, write them down clearly and neatly observing capital letters and the like or in a month or two you will find yourself staring at a "Please enter your password correctly" on the screen. Most of the members here have a Photobucket or similar account (A place where photos are stored on the internet) they are then located by a link in the post you are writing. it does take some time and effort to do but at the end of it you will be proud of how Tech Savvy you have become. Happy new year.

Hi, Aside from all the nice reviews written by HWI members concerning Hayley's performance in Madison with the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, I have found nothing whatsoever in the news commenting on it after the show. I wonder just how much that advanced Hayley's public recognition here in the US. Never did hear what kind of attendance there was there. BobS

Thank you everyone for the great reports, pictures and videos. Libby, it was a pleasure to read your report of meeting Hayley for the first time after so many years supporting her. I like the photos of Hayley and you. You both look great! My favorite of course is the HWI group photo! I really hope that you don't have to wait for too long for the next concerts. Thomas

a time to keep silence, and a time to speak I almost didn't make it to the Madison Concert due to a flare up of pain in my right shoulder. However my wonderful son David took off work to drive me up. I was so happy he did. He had never seen Hayley and he loved her right away. Sorry I missed the group picture ; but I didn't think it would be a good idea to wait in that long line with my shoulder throbbing. I did get to say hello to Hayley as I was leaving. I was happy to meet the forum members i knew. I hope to see you all again soon. I'm going to get a shot of cortisone in my shoulder for sure before the next concert. lARRY
