Thanks Jeff! My suggestion for the girls is 'Somewhere' from West Side Story. Their harmonies would definitely give the song a new twist. I've just been listening to the recording of House of Fun. Naomi and Hannah are only in the first hour of the show. Richard Your suggestion has been tweeted, Richard.

I know this is probably an inevitable choice, but the Flower Duet would certainly be lovely from them.

Thanks for tweeting my suggestion, Jeff. The girls have replied! Libby, the Flower Duet is another very good choice, and the Barcarolle from The Tales of Hoffmann by Offenbach would really suit their voices too. Another tweet: Richard

Yes Richard, the twins are very good at replying to tweets. So too is Lucy and her mum. Sadly Hayley never seems to reply at all !

An interesting observation Jeff, one I have given some thought to over the years. I suppose there is the fear of too much interaction with fans and then feeling a certain obligation to answer all tweets or communications.

She used to do so every once in a while... in fact, I'm sure she did as recently as last year. However, she hasn't in months. Anyway, even when she did, it was like winning the lottery to get a reply from her, and usually only one person won the Hayley twitter lottery at a time.

I've had another reply from Classical Reflection on Facebook this morning! Click on the comments link at the bottom to see the conversation. I'm fairly certain one of the girls always writes "thank you" as one word while the other writes it as two, but I don't know which is which! Yes, Hayley certainly isn't one to engage in conversations with fans on social media like several other artists I know. I used to think that perhaps she thought doing so might smack of favouring some of us over others, and since she doesn't have the time to talk to everyone perhaps it is better to talk to nobody. That way nobody feels left out. On the other hand I know of lots of artists who use social media very effectively to find out what their fans are thinking, what they like and what they don't and so on. It can be a useful tool if used well. I think CR and others have realised that. But then Hayley has this active forum where fans express their opinions, something which most of the others don't.
