as a long time record collector I have been coming across these Sony Pure series compilation packs since around 2010 at really great prices, €7 for 4 cd packs in Golden Discs Irish branches.
I would imagine there is something in the selection for almost everyone,
4 cds with an average of 17 tracks per disc works out at slightly over 10 cent per track.
The great thing is they are original recordings from albums and singles over the last seven decades.
None of that Re-recorded by at least one member of the original band rubbish that pops up on other compilation labels.

got a half dozen of them the other day
that should keep me going for a few days.
