I see 'Lullaby For Prince George' was written by Dr Olga Thomas-Bosovskaya, so it's a snub to Paul Mealor too. Richard

Perhaps Decca should re-release Hushabye, with suitable media fanfare of course.

I think the time has passed for Hushabye. They should've given it the fanfare it deserved a year ago. If they didn't give it much with the first release, then do you really think they would do so a 2nd time around? It's over, people. Bring on the "real" album, and some more than suitable media fanfare for that.

I hope by the "real" album you don't mean Sony's effort. I have never even heard of the "opera singer" they have recruited, but I'd be surprised if she gets anywhere near Hayley.

Hi Martin! I've heard of the singer Charlotte Jaconneli, she came second a couple of years ago or so with Jonathan Antoine on BGT. I know many didn't think much of them at the time but personally I think Jonathan has an incredible voice for his age and with the right training should have a long career potentially in opera (slightly ot). I can't say I thought much of Charlotte to be honest, I think she would do well in the West End though- she most certainly isn't an opera singer! I think the media seem to be trying to market her as the 'new' Hayley if you see what I mean, as they are trying a lot of things that they've also done with Hayley. She isn't anything like Hayley though, and no one ever could be. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonathan_and_Charlotte I think it's wrong they are bringing out this CD without 'Sleep On' on it as that was originally written for Prince George and I don't think got the attention it deserved last year. Yes, now you mention it I have heard her sing along with Jonathan. I wasn't impressed by her, but I agree Jonathan has potential. She is no Hayley for sure. But a gullible public can be persuaded by the right sort of TV and media exposure, which she will get and Hayley never does.

Do I really need to explain what I always mean by "the real album"? I think you know, Martin. Since when do I consider a lullaby album a "real" album? :2fun:

Yes, I knew what you meant Libby, but what you wrote might be interpreted that way by some. I was winding you up, knowing how much you love lullabies.. Naughty of me I know. Martin D

Martin D Martin, if you knew what I meant, then don't pretend you don't. If it's not clear to others, they can ask, not you. I do not like to get "wound up" on this forum, because I feel like I run into that too often as it is, and so I try to avoid it if I can. I just hate the fact that I seem that way so often here, so please do not "wind me up" purposely.
