Hi Dave, Thanks for putting up your capture. The only problem I have is with loading it. It stops every 2 seconds for about 2 seconds, After some is loaded, if I back up, it plays normally until it catches up to the extent of loading, and then stops and starts every two seconds. Shall go back now and wait out the loading so that I can hear the whole thing without stops. Thanks, BobS Hi Bob, It's probably a combination of your Internet connection speed from wherever you are to Germany (where I think our servers are) and your method of viewing it. But yes, let it play all the way through so it's fully buffered and then, when you replay, it should be OK. I'll make a lower bitrate (and lower quality) version equivalent to Youtube's 360p to ensure that everyone can play it OK. Hi Dave,
I let it fully load, then played through it all. I even left the HWI site, and returned to find it working properly. How long it lasts remains to be seen. Now that I think back, I think that I have experienced that before with a video or two that are on HWI, but can't recall the details. Anyway, no great problem.

Very interesting!!! I have been away from the computer for about an hour. Just now tried your new low bitrate video. Same problem. However, the original is still working fine. Since it is so much clearer, I'll stay with that, even if I have to reload at some point.

Thanks SO much Dave!! :rollin Just watched it - it's definitely the exact version from Hushabye, minus the Gaelic plus a little more echo. I quite liked it.  And that video! THAT is how I think the other Hushabye vids should have been done. It's much simpler, more natural, more professional-looking, and generally higher quality. The ones we have now are fine - don't get me wrong - but I would have much preferred that they had been like that.  -Taylor  |

Of course it was minus Gaelic. It never had any to begin with.  I like her dress! And it looks like it was recorded in December, perhaps, since I see what appears to be a manger scene when the camera pans around. Which would explain the song. I actually heard this song (not by Hayley of course) on my local Christian station during Christmastime. |

Seven years later...
As Hayley's All Through The Night performance on Songs of Praise from 2014 is currently unavailable on our website, I have uploaded the full HD version to our Youtube channel.
Surprise, surprise, Universal Music Group have so far not blocked it this time. I think they've done a deal with Youtube, probably for everything by now. Everything else has probably already been said!

Not to my knowledge Paul, I think this broadcast is the best we have or know of. But in case anyone's memory is triggered, our list of concerts/events for the last 10 years is here: www.hayley-westenra-international.com/event_list/index.html . An archives search back to 2000 doesn't produce any additional (i.e. pre-Hushabye) results. |
