Hi John,

Yes I think it is. A shortened version of what Hayley sung on Hushabye and the first time on TV, I think.

The presenter talked over the piano intro and ending unfortunately, so I have faded those parts out. Hayley was not in vision at those times and here it is from our Youtube!

Thanks Dave, that was quick! Problem is all I get when I click on your post is "this video is not available in your country".

The same thing happens if I find it on YouTube and try to play it.

I did watch the programme though, and I thought Hayley sang it beautifully.

Content-ID blocked Worldwide by UMG.

First time they've ever done that to one of our Youtube videos. Seems they aren't interested in the extra publicity we would bring for Hayley with this, and would rather try to sell 1.25 more copies of the album themselves, an album already consigned to history. I thought record companies had got over their Youtube issues years ago!

I'll have to delete it, will then upload again in case it's a mistake (unlikely) and I suppose I could stick it up on the main website directly, yes I'll do that. Actually, I'm letting Youtube "attempt to remove the claimed music" first, just to see exactly what has been claimed. Off to make dinner then I'll have a look.

Hi Sing,

You must have got in quick, before they blocked it!

I'm just trying out the new Youtube "remove-a-song' feature, presumably if there's a song clip in a longer video you can now get just that deleted by Youtube to remove the Content ID block. But in this case, it's removed all the audio, leaving only the video, so I'll try another upload and if that's no good, will have to re-encode it and upload to the website instead. Universal may have blocked all Hushabye songs, I'll check that out later.

Actually you could try this. lots of annoying adverts and stuff, but you get there eventually.

Try again Martin since I watched it on iplayer a couple of hours ago! Very nice it was too.

Gosh, they have gone to town on this one! I played the overseas iPlayer version, recorded the audio and tried to upload it to Mediafire so that I could make it available to the rest of you. Mediafire would not accept it, said there was a "permissions error". Never come across this before. Pity, I think it is a rather better performance from Hayley than the two on Hushabye. Will try some other upload sites before I give up.

Phew! It's been a struggle, but at last I have managed to make the audio at least available by uploading it to my own web space. It is beautiful I think you will agree.

Hi,
Had enough patience to watch long enough to see and hear Hayley.
Noticed your very appropriate comment at the bottom of the screen.
I'd love to watch and hear it again (it was very nice), but haven't the patience to do so.

Hi everyone,

All is now well. It was a bit of a struggle, Youtube uploads is so much easier than anything else.

But you can now see and hear this performance on the HWI website as follows:

The resolution is 732 x 412, at 1Mbps.

If anyone would like to see an HD version, which would need at least double that bit rate and probably triple, I can do that tomorrow.

Hi Dave,
Thanks for putting up your capture.
The only problem I have is with loading it. It stops every 2 seconds for about 2 seconds, After some is loaded, if I back up, it plays normally until it catches up to the extent of loading, and then stops and starts every two seconds.
Shall go back now and wait out the loading so that I can hear the whole thing without stops.
